This stand is good because it is easy to fold up and store in a closet. However, that convenience comes with a small price. The stand is not super sturdy in the fact that it sways left to right more than I would like. Other than that it works good.

This will definitely hold up for your racing demands. I added 2 casters towards the backside of my steering unit on the floor of this stand. My setup allows for it because it's locked into place while I'm in my chair. This allows the stand to more easily be moved when not in use. 8mm casters I do believe is what I used. ... show more
