The Zinus 2000H is fantastic. Very heavy duty, very sturdy, no wobble, no squeaking noises, fit and finish is great. The framing style and finish is very clean and attractive looking with clean simple lines. I like having the headboard with the bed frame as it looks nice and it is sturdy to hold the pillow up to lean back on when you want to sit more up right in the bed for reading or watching TV. Heavy thick strong metal and with a really nice black semi-matt finish that looks like it should last forever. The wood slats are 1/2 inch thick laminate plywood type so is strong and sturdy so I don’t think it will have any warping or sagging problems. The velco is heavy duty and holds the wood in place and spaced well. There are plastic feet under the legs so it should be good for hardwood or tiled floor. The frame sized fit my mattress size perfectly and the mattress stays in place on the wood slats without moving around. I like the height with the mattress is about the height of a chair seat height so when I sit on the edge of the bed my feet fall flat on the floor so you don’t have to jump up on it and can easily stand up from it. Also the height of the frame still has enough height under it so you can store some stuff under it especially like shoes, magazines, and small container. It goes together easily using all the same sized allen hex type screws plus it includes the allen hex wrench so you don’t need any of your own tools. It is packed well in a compact sized but is heavy about 60 lbs for the twin sized. I moved it to the upstairs bedroom by opening the box downstairs and then moving the plastic wrapped pieces at a time to the room and then put it together. Putting it together and setting up takes about 30 minutes. Just follow the directions so the bed ends up finished correctly with everything sized and fitted perfectly. My one complaint was if you order from Sleep Revolution the shipping is slow. I ordered Sunday and they prepared a shipping label on Monday but didn’t actually take it to FedEx until Friday to really begin the shipping so it arrived 2 days later then original range that Amazon provided. But it is free shipping on a very large and heavy item so as long as you are in no rush the free shipping is fine once you get it as this bed frame is really nice. I did look online to see what IKEA had to offer and I didn’t see anything impressive that looked as good and strong for around the same price. I really like IKEA stuff but as for beds this bed frame made of metal was better as it didn’t have any wooden dowels or nails or fancy hardware to assemble it with. The one large sized screw fit and tighten well and made for a nice solid connection with no give or flex. The black metal frame is modern and contemporary looking but not really cold looking. Comparing the descriptions of the Zinus 2000H which I brought and the 1500H which I don’t have it looked like the 1500H is taller by 4 inches so would have more room under it for more storage but the height will probably be taller than chair height depending on your mattress thickness. Also the metal framing bars is thinner sized so the overall weight is less by about 17 lbs for the twin sized frame. I am very, very satisfied with this bed frame. I bought one other frame from Amazon previously that I ended up really disliking, so I decided to replace it with this frame and I couldn't be much happier. The assembly is dead easy with very clear instructions and labels on the parts, plus an included ratchet wrench. All of the pieces are extremely beefy, allowing the frame to be perfectly tight and sturdy with only four legs on the corners and one in the very center. My previous frame had additional legs on the sides, which just got in the way of sliding storage bins underneath, and it still felt wobbly and creaky anyway. With this frame, I can't feel any movement - it feels about as solid as throwing a mattress on the ground, and it doesn't make any noise whatsoever. I like the wood mattress support slats much more than metal ones on other bed frames. They are much wider, so there's more surface area for the mattress to sit on, preventing the mattress from sliding. There are also sticky strips on a couple of the slats, but I found these a little too sticky, making it difficult to lift the mattress when, for example, putting on a fitted sheet. I replaced these with non-slip furniture tape and that has worked very well. The mattress doesn't move at all but can still be lifted if needed. In comparison, my previous frame had skinny metal slats and my mattress would slide to the side and need to be shoved back every few days, even with some of the same non-slip tape. This frame sits a few inches lower than most, but that is perfect for me as I have a thick 14" mattress that felt too high up with a standard height frame. With this frame, my bed feels like the perfect height, and there is still just enough room to slide storage bins underneath. I like that this frame does not include a headboard, allowing me to instead find one I like to add on. I have since added a Zinus headboard which, of course, fit perfectly. I have heard of some compatibility issues with headboards from other manufacturers, so I stuck with Zinus. They do have lots of good options, though, so that wasn't really a problem. ... show more

What we loved is the strength, hight, high enough with just a thick mattress, high enough for under bed storage. Dislike, headboard isn't high enough or removable so you could use alternative comfortable decorative headboard. The price for the quality and easy assembly can't be beat. Love the included tools. Directions with actual written words which are sadly absent with most products these days, would be much appreciated. ... show more
