Great bed frame with tons of storage!
Size: King Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
This bed frame was easy to assemble and took me about 30 minutes to do by myself. The directions were easy to follow and I love how much storage I now have under my bed. My bed itself is nice and high now and I put a bed skirt around the bottom, looks great! I watched the price of this for a full year and when it dropped by 50% I bought it. So glad I did. No squeaking, no problems. ... show more

Great sturdy structure
Size: King Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
This is a great bed foundation. As an engineer I can tell it's very well structured. It comes with expensive tool that makes it easy to assemble.

Very sturdy and useful bed frame.
Size: Full Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
The assembly was super easy that even my younger sibling could do it by themself! It is easy to move it around as it is very light, and the metal is very high quality. It is surprisingly comfortable and allows storage space underneath the bed frame. It is true to bed size and around 2-3 feet tall. The mattress does not slide on the top which is secured by an adhesive to ensure it does not go anywhere. ... show more

Good value , does the job
Size: King Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
Simple to put together, good design seems sturdy. Good price. Light in weight. Simplicity at its finest. No frills , nothing fancy just built to do the job. Oh and good height with storage space beneath. Matte black finish looks like it will last no blemishes.

Love it!
Size: Queen Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
This product exceeded my expectations, from the user-friendly assembly process to the quality and thoughtful design! It came with everything needed to set up, including well-labeled parts and even a quality tool that made assembly quick and hassle-free. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, relying on well-organized visuals that ensured I didn’t miss a step. What stood out most was the sturdiness of the frame and how well it fits in my space. Plus, the inclusion of anti-slip strips for the mattress was a great touch—no more shifting mattresses! The overall look is sleek, and the design allows for plenty of storage space underneath, which is a huge plus. And, as a bonus, no styrofoam in the packaging, which made the unboxing much cleaner and environmentally friendly. After dealing with more complicated furniture builds, this was a breath of fresh air. Great quality, smart packaging, and thoughtful design—definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something stylish and easy to assemble! ... show more

Easy to assemble, sturdy
Size: Queen Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
For such a basic item, I’m so pleased with how it worked out. The assembly was a piece of cake - 30-45 min for 1 person. Easy to follow instructions, loved the video that you could scan to pull up. When I was done, I lugged my giant, heavy queen mattress on top and plopped on the bed with my 2 dogs. No creaking or instability to be found/heard. LOVE IT. ... show more

Strong and reliable!

I was skeptical at first when making this purchase because not every product is accurate with description. But it was easy installation, finished installing it under 30 minutes. Came with all the pieces and its perfect size for my kiddos. I also love that it’s got enough space below the bed so I can store cubbies for their toys and extra clothes. I recommend this to anyone who’s looking to save money and wants something reliable! ... show more

More Solid Than Expected
Size: Queen Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
Earlier this year, I bought a whole new bedroom furniture set. The bed, though very nice otherwise, was not designed properly for fully supporting a box spring. This resulted in the 4 month-old box spring breaking. Now I could have replaced it under warranty through the mattress retailer, but this would just happen again. So I spent hours researching all these different platform frames and ultimately decided on the Zinus Abel. I needed a platform that would fit inside the wood bed frame. I was nervous about ordering it because I wasn't sure if I could trust the advertised dimensions. The dimensions are, however, exactly as advertised. Putting this frame together was really easy. It took me about 45 minutes, but only because I had a small amount of room to work with and had to assemble it inside my wood bed frame (so that I wouldn't have to take it apart) according to a per-rehearsed plan. (That and I accidentally grabbed the wrong legs for the center cross bar, so they didn't touch the floor and I had to switch them out for the correct ones. Oops.) If I were setting it up in the open, or prior to setting up the wood bed frame, it would have gone much faster. The platform is nice and solid, more so than I expected. I was also pleased to see that there is some padding on the center rail to keep the slats from making any noise against it. When I was researching this frame, I of course paid attention to the negative reviews. There is a common theme among them in that most of the people experiencing problems with the legs either have hardwood floors or the platform is standing alone. All beds will move when you use them, even without any "fun stuff." I don't expect that mine will move, as I placed some acoustic foam as shims around each corner of the platform to keep the platform from shifting inside my bed frame. Perhaps others may find it beneficial to secure the platform to minimize the shifting that can cause damage to the legs. The other problem I've seen people have is over-torquing the bolts. It's best to tighten them down until they stop, and then use just a little more pressure to torque them down until they stop again. Never tighten them so much that the rails start to cave in around the bolt heads. Also, take a little clear nail polish and dab it on the ends of the bolt threads...just a dab at the end...and they won't loosen over time but can still be removed normally. ... show more
