Easy to Assemble and Feels Sturdy

This bed frame was very easy to put together and only took me about 30 minutes by myself. Everything I needed was included in the box, and the instructions were straightforward. I also really like the adhesive strips on the frame because they will help keep the mattress from sliding around or sitting crooked. It feels sturdy so far and was definitely worth the price. Hopefully it still stays quiet and doesn’t start squeaking in three months, but as of right now, I’m very happy with it! ... show more

Wow

So, I don't read a lot of reviews for things because I like to see the product for myself. This is the second bed frame I have bought from this company (the first one I sold to a friend because I was moving and didn't need it where I was going. I wanted to take it but didn't). Both this frame and the last frame were and are AMAZING. 1. The installation for these products is so so so so easy. I can't believe it. All you need is a space big enough to fit your frame to build it. 2. The quality is so sturdy, yet sleek. These frames are not bulky or ugly at all. I am so happy with the sleek yet sturdy design. I've owned bed frames before that when I moved them, they broke. I have a lot a roommates who are constantly in and out of my room and jumping on my bed, so being able to have a bed frame to withhold all that wear and tear is amazing. 3. Great company. Not only with their designs, but their packaging is so easy and minimal. So little paper is used, and I LOVED the cute little note and thank you card left in the box. There was an adorable message that felt genuine which made me love it even more! 4. Such reasonable prices for what you're getting. If you're like me, you want high quality stuff, but you don't have a high quality budget, Zinus is perfect for that. You'll get long lasting furniture for such a reasonable price. Each bedframe I purchase was under $150. Amazing. All in all, this specific bed frame is perfect for someone who likes a tall bed. Plenty of storage space underneath if you're into that type of thing. Comes with non-slip adhesive for your mattress so you're not sliding around. Great quality, great prices, great company. It's as simple as that! Thanks Zinus! ... show more

Perfect bed frame - stylish and easy to assemble
Size: King Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
Fantastic frame. Super easy to assemble. Takes about 10 min if you’re doing it solo. The slats alternate between diy is sided tape and none so you can secure your mattress from sliding. It’s sturdy and looks great. I absolutely love the front. 5 stars all the way. This brand makes quality products. I’ve slowly swapped all of my bed frames for Zinys and they’re just fantastic. ... show more

Sturdy, easy to assemble, and LOVED the included too.
Size: King Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
After getting rid of our busted up old wooden bed frame, we decided it was time to invest in something more modern. I went with this bed frame because of the value, the modern look, and the storage capacity underneath. I had the bed frame out of the box and fully assembled by myself in about 30 minutes. The tool that it comes with is incredible, and I plan to hang onto it for other projects around the house. It's basically and allen wrench / wrench hybrid that makes installing the frame a breeze. Everything was nicely packaged and I loved how intuitive the instructions were. In short, you find the pieces that are labeled "5" (for example), and you know that they all connect to each other. Nicely done on the manufacturers end. The frame itself feels very sturdy and you CAN indeed use a box frame if you prefer a higher sleeping experience, although you don't have to. I don't have any feelings that the frame will suddenly collapse or fall apart. It is truly a high quality product. The only thing I would have liked to have seen would be more protection for your floors. We were worried that the bed frame legs could puncture our new carpet or scratch hardwood floor. Perhaps including some sort of protection would be worth looking into for future models. For now, we're using cardboard until we can get proper furniture slides. ... show more

Simplistic, high quality bed frame on a divorcee budget
Size: King Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box

Super easy to put together. It’s very basic and exactly what I wanted while I decided how I wanted to finally decorate. I did underestimate the height of it with the added mattrrsss height. In my brain it didn’t seem “that tall“. I then added an 18 inch mattress. 14 and 18 is 32. I am barely 5 foot. There are times I have to literally jump into the bed, and it never worries me it’s going to buckle and move. I also really appreciate the recessed feet. I am a chronic bumper and stubber with my feet and legs. I have not once hit them on this frame. Would definitely recommend and likely would purchase again if I ever divorce and lose my bed again again lol ... show more

Sturdy, minimalist style
Size: Queen Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
This metal platform queen bed exceeded my expectations! Assembly was quick and straightforward—I was able to put it together easily without any extra tools or frustration. Once set up, it feels incredibly sturdy with no wobbling or squeaking, which gives me a lot of confidence in its durability. The minimalist design is sleek and modern, making it easy to match with any style of décor. I also love how much storage space there is underneath—it’s perfect for bins, boxes, or even just keeping things out of sight while maximizing room space. Overall, it’s a great combination of style, practicality, and sturdiness at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a clean, minimalist look with extra storage and reliable quality! ... show more

More Solid Than Expected
Size: Queen Style: Bed Frame Only Pattern Name: Original Box
Earlier this year, I bought a whole new bedroom furniture set. The bed, though very nice otherwise, was not designed properly for fully supporting a box spring. This resulted in the 4 month-old box spring breaking. Now I could have replaced it under warranty through the mattress retailer, but this would just happen again. So I spent hours researching all these different platform frames and ultimately decided on the Zinus Abel. I needed a platform that would fit inside the wood bed frame. I was nervous about ordering it because I wasn't sure if I could trust the advertised dimensions. The dimensions are, however, exactly as advertised. Putting this frame together was really easy. It took me about 45 minutes, but only because I had a small amount of room to work with and had to assemble it inside my wood bed frame (so that I wouldn't have to take it apart) according to a per-rehearsed plan. (That and I accidentally grabbed the wrong legs for the center cross bar, so they didn't touch the floor and I had to switch them out for the correct ones. Oops.) If I were setting it up in the open, or prior to setting up the wood bed frame, it would have gone much faster. The platform is nice and solid, more so than I expected. I was also pleased to see that there is some padding on the center rail to keep the slats from making any noise against it. When I was researching this frame, I of course paid attention to the negative reviews. There is a common theme among them in that most of the people experiencing problems with the legs either have hardwood floors or the platform is standing alone. All beds will move when you use them, even without any "fun stuff." I don't expect that mine will move, as I placed some acoustic foam as shims around each corner of the platform to keep the platform from shifting inside my bed frame. Perhaps others may find it beneficial to secure the platform to minimize the shifting that can cause damage to the legs. The other problem I've seen people have is over-torquing the bolts. It's best to tighten them down until they stop, and then use just a little more pressure to torque them down until they stop again. Never tighten them so much that the rails start to cave in around the bolt heads. Also, take a little clear nail polish and dab it on the ends of the bolt threads...just a dab at the end...and they won't loosen over time but can still be removed normally. ... show more
