It took 45 minutes total to label, assemble, and put the cover on. I especially loved the mini ratchet tool that was included; it made tightening everything much faster and easier than using a standard allen wrench. Everything fit as expected and was easy to move into our rolling adjustment frame. The King mattress fits nicely on the metal box spring and does not slide around at all. Upgraded an old broken down wood box spring with this metal one from Zinus. Setup was just a few minutes, and done with 1 person. Seems very sturdy, I have a larger full size mattress on top as well, and have not noticed any flexing or noise after months of use. I appreciate the fact it is metal, and will probably last longer than the standard wood box springs. My only complaint would be the top is open, so when you go to tuck in sheets under the mattress, your hand will slip in there, but super small complaint. Size: Twin XL Style: New/upgraded with quick assembly
The box springs on our King size bed had begun to creak with even the slightest weight on them. When we investigated, we found a wooden frame nailed together and topped with a thin plywood board - so there was no way to tighten the frame and stop the noises. We decided to buy two of the Easy Assembly Zinus Twin XL box springs, hoping that they would be robust enough for use in a rental unit, and that the assembly would not turn out to be a nightmare. We need not to have worried! I assembled the first of the two in 15 minutes, and my wife and I completed the other in 10. Adding the cloth cover was no problem at all, despite some of the comments we have seen from others. Once complete, the two units fitted neatly and easily onto our bedframe. It remains to be seen how long the product lasts, but from the look of it, I expect we will get a good life out of it. The assembled unit is firm and the bed remains comfortable.
