I knew there were going to be a lot of parts, so I decided to be as organized as possible. After opening the box, I marked each group of items with a sticky note to make assembly as easy as possible. It took 45 minutes total to label, assemble, and put the cover on. I especially loved the mini ratchet tool that was included; it made tightening everything much faster and easier than using a standard allen wrench. Everything fit as expected and was easy to move into our rolling adjustment frame. The King mattress fits nicely on the metal box spring and does not slide around at all. It looks great and feels very solid. We are looking forward to having family visit and hope they enjoy the comfort. If you take the time to organize the pieces first and use the provided ratchet, this is a very straightforward and high-quality setup

Upgraded an old broken down wood box spring with this metal one from Zinus. Setup was just a few minutes, and done with 1 person. Seems very sturdy, I have a larger full size mattress on top as well, and have not noticed any flexing or noise after months of use. I appreciate the fact it is metal, and will probably last longer than the standard wood box springs. My only complaint would be the top is open, so when you go to tuck in sheets under the mattress, your hand will slip in there, but super small complaint. Still 5 star item for me, because the material is good and the price is right.

The box springs on our King size bed had begun to creak with even the slightest weight on them. When we investigated, we found a wooden frame nailed together and topped with a thin plywood board - so there was no way to tighten the frame and stop the noises. We decided to buy two of the Easy Assembly Zinus Twin XL box springs, hoping that they would be robust enough for use in a rental unit, and that the assembly would not turn out to be a nightmare. We need not to have worried! I assembled the first of the two in 15 minutes, and my wife and I completed the other in 10. Adding the cloth cover was no problem at all, despite some of the comments we have seen from others. Once complete, the two units fitted neatly and easily onto our bedframe. It remains to be seen how long the product lasts, but from the look of it, I expect we will get a good life out of it. The assembled unit is firm and the bed remains comfortable. I am happy to recommend this product.

A little disappointed. I ordered this Friday night, and the product was promptly delivered the very next day early evening. Kudos to fast delivery! Yay! It’s 4:05 am and I’ve just built my new king size bed frame and I was in the process unpacking this supposed great box frame for king size mattress. As I am separating the pieces in alphabetical order A-S per the parts listing. I found part C had been built incorrectly where it was missing a push in button connection and missing 3 welds. A little concerning being that it suppose to support a king size bed and 2 bodies on top. With so many positive reviews and with so many purchases, I was expecting a great product. I hope it’s a just a one off situation and I'm the only unlucky one. But I am very disappointed at the fact that I won’t be sleeping on my new bed. Going back to the spot welds, it’s pretty janky at best. I can’t imagine this product lasting but as I said, with the many thousands of reviews and purchases by others, who knows. But I expected more. I’m not a welder so what do I know. Anyways… it’s just upsetting to get this delivered along with a purchase of new bed frame and this item was suppose to be the thing that brought it all together. And now, as I write this review, I’m stuck with parts scattered in my room and not a bed to sleep on. Also, because I ordered this product on the weekend I’m having to wait a couple days before getting this issue is resolved since customer service is not available till Monday. Im not saying I don’t recommend this product but I guess we’ll see how customer service handles the issue and how fast I get my part. I will update with a better review once this matter is resolved and I’m able to actually review the product in better conditions.

I was trying to decide between this and one other box spring but decided on this one because of the 'quick release' connectors. And I'm glad I did! After assembling the frame downstairs in my living room, my girlfriend and I tried to carry it up the stairs to the bedroom only to discover it was slightly larger than our old one which JUST fit around the corner. Luckily, all we had to do was remove the cover and two little screws, and the two halves came apart to be easily carried up, one for each of us. Quick reassembly and we were good to go. I also love that this one came with an ALL METAL mini allen wrench with built in ratchet. It made things go so quick and even though I'm that guy that will go to a friend's house to put together furniture for them because I love building things, it's nice when it doesn't take longer due to design flaws and even better when it goes quicker due to creative solutions. This frame had all of that and seems very sturdy. I can't yet comment on the longevity but since my girlfriend and I weight 270 combined, I doubt we'll be putting this thing through much stress.
