I think it's worth the money I'm terms of price per square. Ft. Ratio. I personally don't really care If there's just one dyed piece to be quite honest, I think that is a privilege to the buyer. Dying and fully penetrating veneer is a an extra process and/or more money for the seller. That's how I view it. So overall, great product and almost perfect I am giving it 5 stars still, but I think if there was at least a printout or something labeling each what kind of wood it is, would be pretty neat! I use it for handmade crafts I make to sell on the side for a hobby and I occasionally buy the 3ft dyed ones from rockkler or whatever, and 3sq ft. Maple veneer as well! Good product 👌 ... show more

Fantastic for lots of little projects. Perfect length for bentwood rings. My only issue was that there were a few pieces I would love to order more of but I'm not sure what they are, and others that were poorly suited to my needs that I wouldn't want to use ever again. I suggest labeling them (I put a tiny letter code on the corner of each sheet) and creating a reference list with the species if you know it and any important properties you find when working with them. ... show more

Multiples of the same wood, the burl piece has holes all through it and is essentially unusable, about ten pieces cracked through and only usable to half the size. Maybe 3 ‘exotic’ pieces, the rest are generic domestic. Almost every one is wavy and will have to have the crap cauled out of it to flatten into the inlays. Good enough I guess. ... show more

I have no issues with the veneer itself, it is a nice pack with different wood species, almost all had no backing materials which made it great for my use (repairing antique furniture). I only had one issue...because it was a soft-pack mailer used to mail it to me, the postman just jammed it into the mailbox, and I had been worried that some of the veneers were damaged. ... show more

My hobby is making rings. I found the laminate nice and alot of different kinds in package. Good value for money. Only disappointment was some pieces were very dry, even after soaking them I hot water they would break.

My pack had a good variety of wood species, colors and grain patterns. I used it for a marquetry project and was very satisfied with the results. Almost none of the veneers were split at all which was awesome and they all came very flat.
