The bed is very firm and took a while to get used to. Initially I woke up with such severe body and back pain that I had to move to the couch. After about a week, it got better. I bought this so my infant could nap on a firmer mattress as our previous bed sunk deeply. I’m able to sit or move off/on the bed whiteout waking him; it’s that firm. I was hoping this would be less on the firm side and more soft. It is a pretty bouncy mattress too. It inflated well and is as described otherwise however. We are happy with it.

I love the mattress. It was easy to unpackage/expand and is very comfy. HOWEVER, I was looking for a firm mattress. The posted reviews for the medium mattress appeared to include responses from people who bought the firm one. I didn't realize this and didn't look close enough at the product description, so I ended up with a medium mattress instead of a firm one. I've been sleeping on the medium mattress for 2 months and am starting to have back/neck problems. I am hoping I don't need to replace the mattress after such a short time, especially because I'm the only one in the family who is having any problem with it. ... show more
