Out of the box it looks like this- Be careful the second you cut the plastic binding this thing springs into shape. I liked the quality of the mattress for the price I paid- it is just a single mattress and I put a 1/2 dense foam cover to it that makes it a bit too soft. If I had to sleep on it every night I would get a box spring and top mattress set but for my guest room itโ€™s fine. ... show more

Got this mattress to replace fairy new other one I got for twice the price. This mattress is very comfortable rare find in this size ( narrow trwin) most mattress this size are foam . My back was killing me after just few nights on the 6 inch foam one and this one is great. Firm and comfortable

The mattress expanded very quickly and fully to 6". It's very uncomfortable, I feel the springs. I added a quilted mattress pad and it didn't help. Perhaps a topper would help, but I don't have the room to add more thickness as I want to use this in my mini-van to camp in. I could not imagine how to return such a big, bulky thing, otherwise I would have. It did expand to the full 6" and very quickly, so be prepared. ... show more
