This item worked very well, it cut 600 sq feet without needing and sharpening or any issues. The unit is easily moved around from room to room with mounted wheels. The hand cutouts helped. If your going to have to cut laminate planks or vinyl planks this is a must have tool. No saw dust from a saw, just small cuttings that can be swept up and deposited intothe trash can or plastic bag. Blade is a quality blade. Accurate cuts were made aand clean. I even used it to cut quarter round pieces.

Great cutter. Can’t see the difference between this one and the ones at the big box store that is twice as much. In to about 20 boxes of thick life proof LVP and it cuts clean and square every time. Blade is robust and still sharp and is replaceable . . Does come in a small box so there is some assembly required. Has a color instruction manual that is easy to follow. Would say I would buy again but I won’t because I won’t need to.

While we were at work, our guest bathroom toilet flooded our house and ruined all of our carpet. The good news is we hated the carpet anyway and wanted to install new luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring to give our house a much needed upgrade. We had several companies give us quotes on installing the new floor and we realized that we would save lot of money doing it ourselves. During the first day of installation I realized that having to go outside and use the mitre saw to make every cut was not fun at all. There had to be a better and easier to way to cut the LVP inside the house. Trying to use the mitre saw inside the house would make too big of a mess. I read the reviews and this cutter seemed to be exactly what I needed. It was easy to put together and it was a lot easier to make the cuts that I needed. The blade was very sharp and was able to cut through the thick LVP easily. It made the installation process a lot easier, cleaner, and faster.
