Absolutely my favorite Mattress! We have purchased 3 of them. One is in our Airbnb, one my daughter has and this one I personally use. I have got compliments on how comfortable this mattress is in our Airbnb. I prefer a softer mattress but my husband prefers a harder one. This mattress is just in the middle and is a perfect fit for both of us. It smells just fine and didn't smell awful when un-packaging. It was easy to get upstairs as it is rolled up tight. Two of us carried it upstairs. We put it on the bed frame and tore the plastic. It does advise against using a sharp object to open the bag. It is a really thick plastic but we were able to tear it. It Expands quickly. We waited 24 hours to sleep on it and it was great! It doesn't seem to hold heat. It is sitting halfway over a heat vent but I don't overheat at night with the heat blowing a bit towards the mattress. I really like this mattress. It is not too soft and not too hard. ... show more

Bought this bed last minute in late August for unexpected house guests (both in their 70s). They stayed at my home for 3 full weeks and continuously answered my "How did you sleep?!" question with great answers. They were comfy, not in pain, mentioned that the bed was not too hard, not too soft. For $450, this was a great purchase for my guest room and I was really pleased to be able to have a king bed on such a budget! Delivery was a breeze. Arrived in 2 days from prime. Two amazon employees brought it inside my house and one of them had a personal review of his experience ordering a "rolled mattress" and gave me some tips on how to unwrap it. One minor minor detail I'd love for the manufacturer to note is that after 3 weeks, a faint "new bed" smell isn't going away. I've had windows open, used linen spray, added clean sheets, etc. and there is a foreign (not bad) smell that lingers on and around the mattress. It isn't strong enough to bother me, but its there. I can't pinpoint what it smells like, its not chemically, or particularly bad. Reminds me of shipping boxes I guess. I followed instruction and allowed the mattress to completely puff up in size for 5 full days before putting anything on it. Smell did not fade during this time. Again minor, but my only gripe.     • Finally - an affordable, firm mattress

As a man of gravity (approaching 300lb) I look for a mattress that’s decidedly on the firm side. I can’t speak for everyone, but this was exactly what I was looking for to provide firm (but still comfortably soft) support. Out of the box, the top layer of foam did look rumpled and lumpy beneath the mattress cover. But by the end of the first night, everything was settled and smooth. (Make sure to let it unroll and rise fully in one place before trying to move it - I think trying to move it while it was expanding was my mistake.) After just one night, I feel more rested than I have in years of sleeping in memory foam and soft “hybrid” mattresses. It doesn’t seem to sleep hot - I’m like a space heater but this passed the sweat test in a 74° room. Dry and comfortable all night. For my weight, this mattress is great in any sleep position: side, stomach and back all feel natural. It has just enough sink so that my behind is flush with my spine if I’m on my back, which no mattress has ever managed to do for me before. If you’re on the lighter side, this might not be the same for you, but again, just speaking for my own size. The quilted top doesn’t have large divots like some mattresses, and the top layer of foam is just thick enough to feel plush without the marshmallow/quicksand feel of the Zinus memory foam mattresses. Great edge support too - sleeping on my side it felt stable right up to the edge. I wouldn’t sit on it to put my shoes on, though… it smashes flat under my weight in a sitting position. All in all, an extraordinary mattress for the price, and one I hope to keep for years. Hope this helps, big dudes! ... show more

The package came within a few days - even earlier than Amazon said it would. It was 80 pounds, so I needed help getting it from outside the door to my bedroom. I opened it up and that picture was taken within 1/2 hour of me opening it up. I slept on it within two hours. They say it takes 24 hours to 72 hours to really fill in properly so my second night I was looking forward to sleeping and it was nice. I added a mattress Topper because even though it has the euro top it's not a soft mattress. It's firm but I had this one inch mattress Topper which I also bought on Amazon and is wonderful. The mattress fit the box spring which I already had. The mattress had no smell and I've had no allergies or coughing at all . I am quite happy. I can't wait to go to sleep on it again tonight. Update -after 4 days ,it is perfect. ... show more
