It came rolled-up in a vacuum-sealed plastic pouch in a tall skinny box. (The box was very heavy to move, if that's something you're concerned about). Once I cut open the plastic, the mattress inflated and boom! It was ready to use! The mattress is *quite* plush. (Maybe even too plush if that's something you don't like. The memory foam is very obviously there.) Still, it's been quite comfortable during these first few days at my apartment and it totally beats sleeping on the floor. I have never wrote a review before, but I felt like I should write one for this specific item because it has so many reviews and hopefully it will help the next person who thinks about buying this bed. Just beware even at 12 inch this bed will be extremely firm. I asked about ten of my friends to feel the firmness of the bed and we all agreed that it felt like you are just sleeping on the floor, but elevated. So if that is something you are into, then I guess the bed is good for you. It turned into a little joke in the group because of how hard the bed is. It was also extremely hard for me to breathe if I slept on my back. I already have breathing issues already so this definitely did not help wit that. On the side, I guess it was okay, but I am trying to avoid being a side sleeper for now. Will be returning and hopefully my next mattress will not be as firm. Also, my bed only reached 10 inch height and 9 inch in the corners instead of the full 12 inches after 2 weeks. ... show more

My dad got one, he sent me the link, I bought two, then sent the link to my sister.... so comfy! Comes in a very compact box, about 70-80lbs. The bed is in a vacuum sealed packaging. It does need about 24 hours to fill out completely, so you want to make sure you buy it ahead of the time you need it. Height and thickness was 100% accurate for my family and the beds we purchased. Quality is great, we like a firmer mattress, but it's not rock hard. We love the memory foam top. Noise level = non existent. So I was very hesitant to purchase because the previous mattress I purchased from Amazon was a hybrid and honestly it was very cheap. This mattress is not that! Before I wasn't sleeping through the night I was tossing and turning and waking up the next day sore but one night in this mattress I actually slept all night long and was so comfortable the mattress stayed pretty cool and I sleep on my stomach so I need a firm mattress but not rock hard. This mattress is perfectly firm enough for my to sleep comfortably and still soft and plush I even purchased the memory foam pillow as well best sleep I've gotten all year. I down graded from a California kind 14inch pillow too to that cheap queen sized hybrid and regretted it instantly but this mattress saved my sleep and my body I slept so good I woke up and my eye lashes were smacked against my eye lid lol I didn't even care that I had just paid to get them done the sleep was worth it I'd but again for sure I purchased the 12inch btw and I feel like I would be ok with the 14 as well I saw some ppl saying the 14 inch was too firm but I think that's impossible ppl just need to know the type of mattress that best works for how they sleep stomach sleepers need a more firm mattress and this was firm and soft and comfortable you won't regret the purchase i promise best sleep all 2026 ... show more

0 smell. This is def not a medium feel. It’s very firm! I’m going on 2 weeks & my body legit hurts! I have a 3 inch topper on it and still no better. Haven’t slept well since its arrival. Praying I can adjust to the feel before having to look into the 90 day return process. Perhaps the 8 or 10 inch would be softer instead of the 12 inch but went thicker because I like height to my bed. Going to try and get as close to that 90 days as possible to see if my body can acclimate as they say it can take that long but ooofffff the sleep deprivation and soreness is real! ... show more
