    • True to firmness and won’t sag!
I bought this in size twin a year ago because I was living in a small room. It was indeed extra firm so I bought a topper and I figured because of the low price it wouldn’t last long. I’ve bought IKEA mattresses (around the same budget) and within 3 months there was sagging/ sinking so I expected to get the same quality but nope. Had this bed for a year and NEVER sagged! Firmness stayed intact and looks like a luxury mattress! Win win. Fast forward a year later, I moved into a bigger place and could buy a bigger mattress so I decided to give away this twin one and spurge on a more expensive mattress. What a mistake that was! I tried the purple ($1100), the winkbed firmest option ( $1300) and both mattress I would sink in and be sleeping in the mattress versus on top. The purple I kind of expected it because it isn’t advertised as firm but I was intrigued by trying a new material. My friend has the purple and loves it but he likes medium firmness. So nothing against Purple, their customer service was fantastic! The mattress has a very interesting feeling when sleeping on it. They do have other more expensive options and their customer service is great so I’d definitely recommend them. Now as for Winkbed, stay away! With their advertised “firmer mattress” I was sinking in as soon as getting it, I waited days hoping it just hadn’t decompress and nope, it has gotten worse. So bad that I’m taking painkillers everyday to deal with the body aches of sleeping inside the mattress. The company although they advertise a “say nothing and get a refund” I have been emailing them explaining my situation for days, and they have yet to process a refund. They give me copy-and-paste like responses that have nothing to do with my issues like saying it will get softer in time when I’m not saying it is hard, I’m saying I’m sinking in. So how will it getting softer help me? So my experience with Winkbed customer service have been awful. No empathy, no responsibility (think they sent a defective mattress), and not keeping to their word. Also, I tried to leave a review on their website and you can’t. So makes me wonder who can leave reviews on their site? Anywho, stay away. After two failed “splurge” mattress purchases and one awful customer service experience (Winkbed), I decided to go back to the bed that was truly firm! Sometimes the “you pay what you get for” isn’t true. I got a way better, true to firmness, no sagging price at 1/4 of the cost with this mattress! Update: After having used this for a few weeks, I bumped it up to 4 stars, it is firm and I find it quite comfortable now. Not using a mattress topper or anything with it and it is definitely helping my back. Would recommend. At this price point, its hard to find a better firm coil mattress. On night 1, I only slept two hours. On night 2, I slept through the night but woke up with a painful, stiff, back. I will keep using the bed for a few weeks and update this review.     • Firm, comfy, and quiet!
Edit: it has now been 2.5 years and I am so grateful for this bed. Highly recommend! Original review: I purchased this mattress about 1.5 years ago when I was having back pain during pregnancy. I was looking for an extra firm mattress, which is surprisingly difficult to find in the US. I will say, this is not as firm as the firm mattresses over seas but it is still amazing. This mattress saved my back! Not only that, my husband and I can toss and turn without waking eachother up. I also wanted a mattress that can hold a lot of weight and not give in because our combined weight is nearly 500lbs. This mattress is quiet, firm, comfortable and holds up over time. I do recommend giving it a couple days to expand before sleeping on it but we used it right away and had no issues. This is a bariatric type mattress and is quite heavy so I need help changing the sheets but I am extremely satisfied with this bed. I love this mattress so much that I purchased a second this week for our spare room (and luckily got it for 25% off, yay!). I use a mattress protector on all of our mattresses and it looks like new even 1.5 years later. I purchased the Zinus platform frame to use under this and it gives lots of storage room and decent height to the bed.     • Cheap, firm, and comfy!
This bed was dirt cheap, firm like I wanted, and arrived quickly. I'm an old guy so I didn't want any of that gel or foam. Just give me the good old springs. I sleep very well on it. This is my 4th Zinus that I have purchased. Why would anyone spends thousands of dollars.

Got the 10' full, Comes rolled up like a poster in its box Vacuum sealed, shorter in width and length Until you break the seal and it expands... Awesome. Quality : VERY Well made and heavy , Not cheap at ALL . Feeling : "Serta" needs to take notice of this one,Yes its that good. When they say EXTRA Firm They mean it. Completely Supported Everywhere. The people sleeping on it are not Hvy set AT ALL. And when sitting maybe sink into it 3 inches.. It is EXTRA Firm. Over all Sleep: Has been Very Good. Sore Upper and Lower Back and shoulders have disappeared literally over night. Thoughts/ADVICE:the best 200$ ive ever spent on something.
