I really like the Zinus Queen Green Tea Essential Memory Foam mattress. I would buy it again. What I don't like is when the price is lowered a week after I buy it. I opened it up and put it on the new platform frame within 8 hours it was at 10 inches, I slept on it and the next day it was 10.5 inches. After 3 days it is 11 7/8 inches. So close enough to 12 to make me happy. It's a little firmer than I am used to, but my older mattress was a very nice 12-inch double pillow top that I purchased 27 years ago. It held up for 25 of those 27 years. It was hard to sleep on for the last two years and I did not look forward to laying on it. I have insomnia and sleep is hard for me anyway, so I decided to purchase a Zinus after I sat on my son's and his wife's bed one afternoon. I can honestly say it does take a little getting used to (memory foam) if you're not accustomed to it but I sleep well on it. It just takes me a little bit to get comfortable at first but when I finally do get comfortable, I sleep really well on it. My husband laid on it and said " I like it" he definitely likes a little firmer mattress than I do. I would say it's about a 7 on the soft to firm scale. I have a friend who purchased a memory foam and she said she hated it until day 29, then she loved it. I am going to buy a twin for our spare bedroom.

I bought this for my daughter's room to replace a memory foam matress that everyone deemed too firm (her room doubles as a guest room, she does not live here full time). I searched to find one that was just medium firmness and thought that's what this was but this is very firm in my opinion and compared to the temperpedic I sleep on. We kept it anyway, it seemed like returning it after it was fully decompressed would be too much trouble. I bought a 3" topper to help soften it up. Tallest bed in the house now by far!

My wife and I had a brand name dial-air mattress until the remote/ air motor stopped working. We always kept it at max firm. This mattress is middle/ firm with no gadgets to break. I like the “natural” vibe. I like the comfort, but I would like it a little more firm if it were possible. I would like to add, that my previous neck pain is gone since using this mattress, and my wife's hip/knee was giving her problems for weeks until changing to this mattress. Wow, little did we know "sleeping on air" was not all that well, but "sleeping on green tea" really has been great!

Purchased for new bed in new home. It has been sitting on the bed for a full week with nothing on it. Not even a sheet. Cover is loose and wrinkled, 12” mattress is expanded to just over 10”. I haven’t slept on it yet, as I haven’t moved in. It appears somewhat firm compared to my old Zinus, which I loved! I’m hoping it continues to expand over the coming days, as I’m not thrilled about a sloppy, wrinkly cover under the sheets. Will update this review after some use.

Came rolled up, once I opened it immediately started to expand to about 7 in, left overnight and it’s now expanded to 12 with the exception of the corners which are at about a 10. I’m not particularly concerned about that- some people are but I’m not. For the money I paid I think it’s pretty good. Will update once I sleep on it for a while. It’s firm but squishy due to the memory foam. Not sinking, and I’m about 200lbs. So far so good.
