Love the 5A maple green dip.....if that’s what you get. I ordered them in the past and love them. Lightweight for jazz/acoustic trio work while still the 5A size I’m used to. But, this time I ordered them and got undipped 5a super heavy birch laminate sticks. I’ll keep them for rock gigs, but not what I wanted or needed. ... show more

The jury is still out on these, as they may break after a week the way I play, but so far, I've really liked the lightweight and yet sturdiness of these sticks. They really give you a nice thud on the toms and crack on the snare. Hopefully they'll last more than a couple of weeks. Let's see.

If you are playing on an electronic drumset without mesh heads, these are fantastic. They really do decrease the amount of jarring vibration that is usually translated through your wrist. Not sure how long they will last as I am a heavy hitter, but I am for sure going to keep using these.
