    • My dog loves the food! Just check your package as soon as you get it!
My dog loves this food. However here is a warning to buyers to open the whole case and go through every can when you first get them. Halfway through the case I found a can of catfish which is different from the trout and salmon I paid for. Additionally there were four cans in the middle of the case that were dented and rusted on the bottom. But I didn’t find that out until I worked my way through the case over the past few weeks and now we’re past the return date. ... show more

I love the signature product. I have a bulldog he’s super food sensitive and will only eat the trout and fish. He loves the canned food so much. I wish it wasn’t so pricey, but it’s worth it to make him happy.

My dogs have been fed Zignature LID Trout & Salmon and LID Salmon canned food for a yr. I purchase 1+ cases of each per month. Definitely something different with both formulas in the cases I recently received. Totally different texture. Food itself is extremely liquidy and mushy and there are pockets of just liquid in the cans. My dogs won't touch either formula. The Salmon formula has been the absolute best for my elderly Boston Terrier. Very thick and easy for him to eat with his short snout. It was on the drier side and so pliable that I would put his daily pills into a small amount and roll that into a ball which he'd scarf down. The formula is way too runny to do that anymore. His IBD prevents me from using pill pockets or pb. ... show more

Our 3 year old Golden Retriever, Murphy, developed a terrible rash all over his rear underside & tail. After exhausting vet visits, it was determined that he was allergic to chicken and some grains. We had been using Blue Buffalo food. We switched to Iams, which our prior 2 Goldens ate their entire lives with no problems. That didn't work either. We then switched to Zignature Trout & Salmon. After several weeks, the rash subsided and after about 2 months, it was completely gone. Zignature is now our "go to" dog food for Murphy. We use both the canned and dry food. Like a signature perfume you have to have your tried and true quality dog food. Zignature eliminates all the things that may cause allergies in dogs. We are still on the fence about if grains or chicken may be the cause of our GSD skin allergies. But his fur does look so much better, he does not bite at all, so it must be the cure.
