the crane M3 are everything you can wish for, in term of stability, sturdiness, weight of the gimbal and features. Zhiyun continue to amaze me every time they come up with the next thing. I have been using Zhiyun gimbal for the last 4 years. But unfortunately i had to return this gimbal as it's not compatible with my ZV-E10. it's not compatible in the sense that i can't connect the gimbal to the camera or the wires to use the record/capture botton on the gimbal. that's literally my only disappointment unfortunately. i just wish for the amount of money we spend on this gimbal, Zhiyun should make it compatible for the ZV-E10. i shouldn't have to go and purchase a more expense camera just to use it. that's my take. but if your camera is compatible with this gimbal, you are in luck. I highly recommend you purchase the universal quick release plate, it will make your life easier. ... show more

I am returning this and instead will buy Weebill 3 from Zhyiun Pros of this gimbal: - it looks BEAUTIFUL! The white, the design, specially when itโ€™s on because the Crane M3 logo has a light that turns on - motors are really good. CON: - it is able to balance a Sony a6600 and Sony 10-18mm lens plus a rode microphone on top of the camera. DOES NOT balance a Sony a6600 camera and Sony E 16-55 f 2.8 G (even though the compatibility list from Zhyiun says it does). The issue is: The back arm (where the crane m3 logo is) hits the back of the a6600, and the plate for the balance doesnโ€™t go further back enough that I could balance the a6600 with the 16-55 since there is a lot of weight in the front, making the camera tilt forward. The weebill 3 has a larger space between the back arm and the plate where the camera goes, plus it gives flexibility for larger set ups in case I upgrade my a6600 in the future. ... show more

Customer service is important to me and this company, Zhiyun, has shown they know what it means as well. My Crane M3 is practically new and only used once in the few month I've had it, yet when I turned it on, there were lines on the screen. I contacted them and they said it was still under warranty...walked me thru the entire process and even contacted me DAILY to make sure I was able to send it back quickly. "Lyn" was truly amazing and I'll definitely be doing more business with Zhiyun. I sent the gimbal back on Friday April 14th and its already on its way back to me! Had this gimbal been a lot cheaper, it would be a worthy opponent to the DJI RS3 mini. But the price difference is so close, you would think Zhiyun is attacking DJI head on. And that's crazy! DJI has become a top player when it comes to gimbal. And for good reason. Compare this to the DJI RS3 mini, and the cards fall fairly quickly. Buy this instead of the RS3 mini and you will suffer buyers remorse. The RS3 mini is just a better product, and supports my zve10 better than this. Zhiyun made empty promises when it comes to the ZVE10. You can't even start recording with this gimbal. Disappointed. I returned my Zhiyun and ordered the RS3 instead. ... show more

This gimbal is so useful to me as a video content creator. I got this gimbal because I upgraded to iPhone 14 Pro Max and the DJI OM4 kind of struggles to handle the weight of the new iPhone. The M3 has more powerful motors and is really designed for mirrorless cameras. It also works very well with my Sony ZV-E10 and A5100. The joystick, wheels control and touch screen menu options are Intuitive. There are many other features that I like: 1. The included USB-C to Micro-USB cables allows me to do Record/Stop on Sony cameras, and the power cable can provide power to charge the camera. 2. A lightning to USB-C cable can power the phone while shooting. 3. Built-in flashlight with easy control! No need to mount video lights! 4. Easy to balance, the brackets are all metal. 5. Phone app required to activate the device but it also allows access to set Timelapse key points (can be sent on the gimbal too, but phone app is nicer) 6. Motion capturing from the phone app to mirror the movement of the phone to the gimbal! 7. Fast USB-C charging at around 12 watts. 8. It has a quick release plate! 9. 1/4 adapter for mounting other accessories. Iโ€™m thinking of getting a SmallRig handle with a battery clamp to supply power to the gimbal while shooting. ... show more

If you have a mirrorless camera, you need this in your life. I have a video I will upload once amazon sorts out why its not allowing me to post videos. I have many gimbals, and this so far tops them in terms of features/weight handling and size. To give a basis. The setup on it now is a Sony A7RIV with a smallrig cage and a 30mm Sigma lens. I did attempt to balance a zoom lens, but at full zoom it did outweight what the motors can handle. But for the size of this, Im not mad. It is an extremely heavy and top heavy setup So lets just hop to the pros and cons. PROS: * Small! Easy to carry and nice ergonomic grip * The controls are self explanatory * Its very lightweight and easy to carry. * The built in light deserves its own review. Its attached tot he gimbal, and there is a dial to adjust the brightness and the hue. Never saw anything like this on a gimbal. It saves me a lot of time carrying an extra light around * balancing is super easy. * It does carry a beefy setup camera wise * Connecting to the camera was easy. * Their app offers more options on top of whats already on the gimbal itself. * Its nice to have a different colored gimbal, love the white color Cons * The only con would be that the camera setup and the zoom sigma 24-70mm was a little to much for it. But at the same time, that is expecting ALOT from a compact gimbal like this. So sort of a con, but manageable ... show more
