  • Great when it wants to be.
If you can navigate the elaborate balancing then this is a good gimbal, the vectoring and modes are very good however the calibration make this very annoying to use on multiple cameras as you will need to turn the camera upside down and try to find a balance. I use a 6400 and ZV1 and it struggles…

  • This thing is awesome
Slight learning curve, but this thing is awesome. I have used it a couple of times and I get great smooth footage. I would YouTube how to balance it. Great quality and the batteries last a long time. I used it for about 8hrs and still had 2 bars left. I use my Canon M50 Mark II and haven't had any issues. ... show more

... show more

  • Just not really there.
The gimbal is great if you have a lens completely centered on the mount. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, SmallRig phone cage #3077, Moment Anamorphic/18mm wide angle/58mm tele lens, and CPL/VND filters. In all, my rig is 550 grams. Knowing that the lenses will offset the weight, I assumed there’s some sort of way to counter the off-center weight. There really isn’t a way to do that without taping quarters and pennies to the base. There’s no where to really add extra counter weights to be honest. My other major complaint is that you can only use the zoom and record functions with their camera app. You cannot control higher end apps like Filmic Pro or the native iPhone camera app… 🤦🏻♂️ In Filmic Pro, if you select the Zhiyun Smooth 4, you can actually select the gimbal. If you check the Bluetooth settings, the gimbal shows as connected. But it still does not control the default iPhone camera app or filmic pro. This is so annoying because I believe you can do that with the Weebill S. Their support is less than stellar. They offer really no help at all. I’m guessing this is going to be another return. No one offers a lightweight gimbal for the bigger iPhones. I’m so disappointed. ... show more

  • Conveniently small Gimbal; easy to operate
Conveniently small Gimbal; easy to operate and very reasonably priced.

  • Can’t get it to work for my camera
My camera might not work with this one, I’m not sure.

  • The Absolute Worst
Stay as far away from this as you can. The setup is terrible, it wouldn't balance my Sony A6400 at all. I even had trouble with a cellphone. The software was glitchy, and overall it's just a terrible product. I rarely return anything, even products I don't plan on using often, I still find something redeeming. With this gimbal, I have nothing positive to report. Spend a little extra money and save yourself the headache. ... show more

  • Very disappointing
I was excited to get this, but once I opened it and started trying to use it, I found out that it is not compatible with a canon M50 or an iPhone. Even though they advertise it’s for small mirrorless cameras, it isn’t. You are unable to electronically control the zoom or camera features when mounted to the gimbal. The app that goes with this gimbal, isn’t compatible with an iPhone, or a canon M 50. Build quality is OK, but not great. I’m sending it back. ... show more
