Ok upon first inspection, everything included, new condition. Plastic feet and metal tubing for stand, legs are high grade plastic as well as the attached stabilizer bars. Plastic is clean and easy to hold. Weight is heavy and would work for limited self stick options, not an all day carry for selfie even 10 minutes or so will make your wrist sore. Better for a stand. I just want the stand feature in a compact size which works well for that purpose. I can understand why this may break on people. Moving the parts into position might require a little strain, but it's not required if you use turning knob and barrel riser in conjunction when raising or lowering. Slides very easy, but if you try to pull legs out just using legs, then it could potentially break. I could see how it could occur. The key is to use the metal ring and barrel portion at the bottom to push and pull after releasing the tension ring. Works much better than the way it is designed. Instructions are limited. Remote works well and easy to connect. Snaps onto stand in easily built in holder. The extension is compression based and just pushes and pulls to extend or retract. Not ideal but seems to work. Extending and retract is a little hard to do, awkward and hard to push and pull to extend. Put a 21s on end and holds it really well, I like the phone clip design easy push design to mount camera in. the portion where mount holder is easy to install, no horizontal pan feature, but can be adjusted manually for changing horizontal pan but is limited in pan feature. It's just a screw adjust. When extended fully, I see no wobble or instability when using on carpet or wood floor with camera mount at full extension. Might be unstable outside under wind conditions, but work well inside. The vertical adjust is easy to us and easy screw turn to change from horizontal to vertical. This is not an easy adjust stand, they do adjust, everything is just manual and requires a little thought on how you want the camera mounted and direction you are shooting in. Not complicated, just takes a little thought to adjust. Pretty large, over 12 inches in length. The carry bag is large and holds contents comfortably. Go pro mount included. Would not recommend for fully size cameras or recorders. Phones or go pro size recommended. When fully extended with camera mounted the holder holds well from compress, nice ledge for camera, some larger phones may not fit, but opening is generous and should hold most phones even the largest. no tablet sizes.

After reviewing several selfie sticks I decided on the Kaiess Selfie Stick Tripod. With next day delivery it arrived the following morning at 8:30 AM CST. Please reference attached pictures. Upon opening the shipping box revealed the product box was nicely secured although if I'd packaged it I would have placed a single air packet on the top and another on the bottom as well to prevent the product box from sliding up and down during transport. But that's just me. :) Opening the product box, I slid out the content cradle. Everything looked nice and snug. Next I removed everything and took inventory. All seemed to be there. It even comes with a travel bag although the material is rather flimsy so I cannot opine on the durability as of this review. No issues or marks or other blemishes were noted. Even though it comes with printed instructions, another nice feature is on the base of the selfie stick there are simple to follow instructions on how to setup the tripod. Everything else is so intuitive that you really don't need the instructions but having them is a nice option, just in case. :) I attached the cell phone bracket in two positions to show versatility for either portrait or landscape. Next I attached my action camera to demonstrate this feature. I used two attachment options. Then I placed the Kaiess Tripod in front of my fireplace with the attached action camera to show how tall it is. The fireplace mantle is ~5ft from the floor. Synching the bluetooth remote to my iPhone 13 Pro was a breeze. To turn the remote on, on the right hand side slide the switch up. A blue light on the front will blink twice as the remote synchs to your phone. I attached my cell phone to the selfie tripod and took a picture of me standing in front of the fireplace using the bluetooth remote. That worked perfectly. Finally I tried taking video and my first attempt resulted in a 2 second vid. After several trial and errors I think I figure out how to do longer videos. With your camera in "video" mode, if you press and quickly release the "photo" button then the video will start recording and keep recording until you click the "photo" button again. This video process that I discovered may or may not work correctly with your phone so I make no guarantees. You may have to use your own "trial and error". I did not upload the 15 second video. (Don't know if you can, tbh, as I didn't see them in the available files as I was uploading the pictures.) I did not test the "float ability" as I do not have a pool in my back yard. Be nice if I did, though, especially in this Texas heat!! Right out of the box I'm quite pleased with the Kaiess Selfie Stick Tripod. Ease of use. Ease of synching bluetooth remote to phone. And the ease of using that remote to take pictures and videos with my phone.
