I bought this to put together a few different looks- Ren Faire, vampire, goth.. I bought another corset just like this from another seller, and you know how crazy the size charts here are.. this is no exception. I’ve ordered two corsets in 4XL because of my waist size. (37”), and I should have ordered a 5XL for this one. It’s super tight, and I had to really loosen the ribbon in the back to get it to work. What I will say is that the ribbon is a much shorter length on this corset than on the other one I bought, which I think is much better. I don’t get having them be super long. It’s a simple corset. However, I followed the size chart and my corset is too loose, I’m a size 16 I took a 4x I could have gone with a 2x to get it more snug and snatched. Order 2 or even 3 sizes up! I am usually a Large I’m 5’6” at 160lbs, but I got an XXL. There is about 3 inches of extra room you can loosen so the the ties in the back, but if you don’t want to do that than definitely order 3 sizes up from what you originally are. Also mine did not have a hard ‘W’ like curve to the top of it for under my ‘underbust’ like I was hoping it was in the picture. It’s not as defined as I wish it was curvature wise.
