STYLE This corset is absolutely gorgeous! It is a beautiful smooth satin, which makes it look almost gold. It looks absolutely beautiful on. It is super sexy, not only do I plan on wearing it under my wedding dress but I'm gong to style my wedding night lingerie around it! QUALITY I have bought corsets online for much more than the $12 this one cost, and they were such gross, cheap material that was closer to big-box halloween costumes. But this one feels like it should cost $75. The laces aren't super super soft, but you can tell they are very strong and they are the flat type of ribbons that you want in a corset for under clothes/dresses/etc.. SIZE I ordered a size large. For reference, I am 5'0", approx. 145 lbs (I'm trying to lose 15 lbs before my wedding), a 36D bra, 31" waist, and 43" hip. I'm short and curvy! I wanted this to help flatten out my lower stomach chub since my wedding dress is VERY fitted. It fits very very well, I think I could've gotten an XL (there is a bit of space in the back that the fabric behind the laces does not cover), but hopefully with the weight I am aiming to lose before the wedding, it will be perfect. But if not, it is definitely still wearable for sure! UNDER CLOTHES It defines my waist, smooths out my stomach and is not super bulky at all. I was worried about the front clasps/hooks being super visible but they BARELY stick out. With a thick enough slip, I don't think any lines will be visible under my fitted satin dress. COMFORT This is a VERY comfortable corset - I can breathe easily, sit comfortably, bend over, and more without any issues at all. It does not feel like it would ride up after a night of dancing at all. I've had several other pieces of shapewear that get the same job done, but I would be counting down the minutes until I could get home and take them off...this one is not suffocating, I feel like I may forget it's even on! Overall, I am so impressed and shocked with the amazing quality of this corset and I can't wait to order more.

with any corset with plastic boning, you cant expect to get a solid five inch reduction and a lifetime warranty. but the corset itself works. its slimming, its pretty sturdy, and it works just fine as long as you order the right size and don't wear it all day every day. I wouldn't expect to get a whole years wear out of it, but its a very good beginners corset for anyone unfamiliar with the practice, and more importantly the lack of strength means that its harder to hurt yourself. overall, very good for the price but if you want an everyday corset for work or something there's better options with metal boning on this site for closer to forty bucks and if you want a good ol lifetime guarantee, corset story has plenty of good underbusts for as low as 60 dollars.

This was purchased for a Martha May costume for our local lighted Christmas parade Grinch float. It was beautiful for a few hours. It ripped over the boning. The boning edge was to sharp under the fragile silky fabric.

I got this in a 6xl according to the size chart & it fits well. The fabric is soft. I have a 41 inch waist & have no problem fitting it. The laces are easy to tie. I have a 4xl in another design and that one fits the same. They both are the same size when comparing them. That's something to notice. The panel in the back is shorter than the one in the 4xl in another design. I like this corset a lot. It makes my waist look snatched. The boning is plastic but has not broken.

Adjusted and wore this corset how you normally would. The bones warped out of shape and cut into my back/sides by midday. Additionally, the lacing is made of satin ribbon, very flimsy. I didn’t mind the shine of the corset but it isn’t suitable at all for a costume piece. This is meant to be used as a lingerie piece that will be taken off you prior to getting down to business. Look elsewhere as I can not stress enough how much I don’t recommend this.
