I got this for my side-by-side to get unstuck while mudding on my property (got tired of using my tractor) so I got this. Installation was straightforward, I had to drill a few holes for it to mount on the front of my side-by-side, but nothing difficult. I've been using it for over a month, pulling logs, getting unstuck, etc. It never skips a beat, it's super smooth and has plenty of power for what I do around the property. The remote is an awesome feature to have, I find myself using it a lot more than the corded controls, especially when winding the cable back up so I can get the hook nice and snug without getting too tight. So far very happy with this purchase. :D

Use it to winch are plane into the hanger. remote has to have a clear site of the control box. we have to add rope to reach out to the taxi way then reconnect and pull the plane in the rest of the way but for the price it works great.

So,, I wasn’t able to make the remote control to work. so, I call customer service and they were able to help.. since I noticed a lot of people were having same issue, because the instructions are worthless for this winch.. the control needs to be activated you just need to press in and out at the same time until you a red light turn on on the remote.

For people having issues with the wireless remote not working, to turn the remote on and off hold down the IN and OUT button at the same time till the indicator light on the remote comes on solid red then use, then repeat to turn the remote off.

It’s a but too early to say but this thing appears to be awesome. Seems to have lots of power and was easy to install. The synthetic rope seems like it wouldnt be strong enough but apparently it is. Time will tell. Overall, i’m happy with my purchase.
