Just got this marble fire pit and it's a real game-changer. Looks super cool and fancy, it's hard to believe it's at such a good cost. The warm vibe it gives off when it's lit makes my place feel extra cozy, and I like to have it lit for ambiance even if not making s'mores. Ambiance-wise, it's better than a candle and feels like a mini fireplace, but way easier to maintain than a fire place. It doesn't come with fuel. I've tried rubbing alcohol (70% isopropyl) and bioethanol. Both work, but I prefer the bioethanol, especially when making marshmallows. The rubbing alcohol leaves some black stuff on the burner and turns marshmallows a bit gray whereas the bioethanol makes a perfect golden-brown marshmallow. Super happy with this fire pit. Great design, awesome quality, and seriously upped my home's cozy factor. Definitely recommend!

My son kept telling me he missed making s'mores and where we live we can't have a fire pit, so this was a great solution! Easy to use. We loved it.

This is a interesting little product for s'mores fans. It has a marble outer layer and two different sized metal bowls. The instructions, which are a little difficult to understand and don't include some answers to questions I had, say that the larger bowl is if you want a higher flame and the smaller more enclosed (which contains something they call ceramic wool) is for a lower flame. I ran my test with isopropyl alcohol and the "lower flame" bowl since it was raining and we were inside. The instructions didn't say how much liquid to use and it was pretty challenging to pour into the enclosed space. After a few spills (which we cleaned up per the instructions), it was time to light the fire pit. Using long matches since we didn't have a long lighter handy, we tried lighting it. It took about six matches because the alcohol wouldn't light and the flame kept going out. Finally we were successful and the fire stayed lit and grew. For being the "lower" flame option, the flame did get pretty high. It was no trouble roasting marshmallows over it with the included marshmallow roasting sticks. I kept accidentally setting mine on fire but they were easily blown out and I don't mind them a little more well done. The biggest problem we had was with the marshmallows getting a gray layer on them. I'm not sure what it was, if it was because of the metal or a result of using rubbing alcohol to cook them or what. They tasted fine and hopefully didn't have anything bad on them. When I washed the metal containers, they did have some gray residue come off on the paper towel so it's possible this was the cause. The smaller of the containers is essentially impossible to clean out the inside of sufficiently since the lid doesn't come off and there is a little metal tab sticking out into the opening (which I cut myself on trying to clean it out). I was able to clean the larger container out better so next time I make s'mores, I will try that one and see if the marshmallows still end up with a gray residue on them. Despite the pitfalls, this does seem to be a well made little fire pit and it comes with a trivet to protect the tabletop and four roasting forks. The company also sent a free bag of marshmallows (there's a QR code to order them and they came in 2 days, even over the weekend). I look forward to playing around with it a bit more this summer since it is easier than using the charcoal grill after barbecuing.

This was a very neat little product. We've used it several times now and I really like it! Sometimes we don't want to get out regular firepit going but still want flames. This little pit allows for that with relative ease. I do wish that it was able to use a different type of fuel, but for what it is, it's not bad.

I planned a romantic date night, which doesnโt happen as often as Iโd like. I thought a little indoor fire pit would be a perfect setting for the evening. When I opened the package I was pleasantly surprised in how elegant the fire pit looked and how cute the accessories were. I knew this would be ideal for the evening. I never thought about using isopropyl alcohol as a base for my flame, but loved it as it was odorless and left no lasting taste on our roasted marshmallows. The ambiance of the little fire pit also enhanced the evening. This will definitely be used on future date nights or just for fun.
