Bought this to replace my 30yr old "Soft-n-Supple" hose, which was becoming less S-n-S and a pain to roll up in the fall for winter storage. So this is not an "expandable" hose - this is considered a "collapsible" hose meaning it flattens out as you drain the water out. The length remains the same. It's a good compromise between a traditional hose and expandable hose. So far I'm very happy with it. PROS: - It's pretty lightweight considering I have the 100' hose. - The fittings look to be pretty solid (aluminum?) - Since it collapses down, it requires less space to store. - Once under pressure, it feels like a traditional hose - just lighter. - The neon green color makes it standout - even on the lawn. - I know others had issues with the fittings leaking - I didn't run into any problems with that. - Unlike the 'expandable' hoses, you can drag this out to where you need it WITHOUT having to turn the water on first, so it's like a traditional hose in that sense. CONS: - During the summer months, I store the hose on my paver patio, on the ground in a loop. When the hose is not under pressure (ie: somewhat empty) it can form 'bends' which can prevent the water from flowing the next time you turn it on. To get around this, I keep just enough pressure in the hose (50%?) to prevent it from creating bends. This way every time I turn the water on, it's ready to go and I'm not fighting to straighten out every bend to get the water flowing. - (not really a Con, just something to get used to). So with a traditional hose, once you turn off the water it may continue to flow through the hose for a short bit of time then stop. Since this hose collapses when the water is turned off, it will squeeze the water out for quite some time and can appear as if the valve isn't fully shutoff. CONCERNS: - The outer coating is a nylon(?) type material. It will be interesting to see how it holds up being dragged over my rough paver patio over the next few years.

This heavy duty hose is a quality product. I have used mine on construction projects & it stands up to daily abuse with flying colors! It is easy to roll up, doesn't kinko or tangle & drains well. Pulling it around the yard is much easier than rubber or vinyl hose. I also like it's rugged external fabric and bright green color. It makes it easy to see which adds safety to the job site. I liked the 100 footer so much, I bought two more 75 footers. Now I can reach every part of my yard and not worry about leaks or kinks. I highly recommend this we'll made, well designed hose.

Purchased 2 months ago. Out of the box the hose had memory and would take a wave shape when full of water. It would also kink easy. Now it has a sizable leak in the inner tube. The outside cloth is pristine without cuts or frays at the site of the leak. This leads me to believe the inner tube is of poor quality and burst under normal spigot water pressure. It's a shame since my older zero g 5/8 inch hoses have been amazing for over 2 years. I will not purchase this item again.

If its possible to be in love with a garden hose...this is the one! I have no fights with it...easily threads in/out of my hose caddy, does not kink (finally!), is light weight to pull it across the lawn, even full of water.

The overall quality is great. Very flexible and has good water flow ,(3/4" after all). The only downside is the fittings are aluminum rather than pure brass, what mean you will likely be getting bi-metal oxidation (Thread tape helps but is not completely prevents it). At around 80 bucks totally worth it. I wish they had these in gray (like the regular zero-g) or other less conspicuous color to leave in the front yard.

I love the length. I have five Zero-G hoses in lengths of 25, 50 and 75 feet, that are now five years old and not one of them has burst. A great product. I took my hoses to my son’s new house, where he needed to water grass seed. So I bought a new 100’ hose for myself. I can now reach my back garden with one hose. Size Matters. This is the first time I have purchased a 3/4” hose, verses a 5/8” hose. The increase in volume of water flow is very noticeable. Size Matters II. Since the 3/4” hose is wider, it actually rolls up on a hose reel flatter than the 5/8” hose, or maybe the difference is that the 3/4” hose is the “Pro” version. Color. I was hesitant at first about the color, but after using it, I love it. The hose is so easy to see that you always know where it is, if it is lying in the grass, you will not trip over it.
