I was about 217ish when I bought this, and I've lost 25 pounds. This is very sturdy for general stepping. I wouldn't jump on it. It makes a cracking noise every once in a while but I can't find anything. The extensions fall off when you move it, but once in place where you want it it's very sturdy. I've only used it on carpet though. The logo on the top is rubbing off, but I don't care about that. I have to fight my kids, 1 and 3, for it because they use it for everything! A stool, a chair, jumping off of... my daughter sits on the end while I step. Plenty of room. Excellent for all types of step exercising when both extensions are used. More would be too much. It's perfect.

Works great and easy to use. I gave it a lower star b/c one of the risers won't stay put in the bottom, but that's not a functional issue. I don't plan to move it all over the place and it's easily resolvable by carrying it upside if needing to move. It's light weight and provides the height that I need. I like how it stays on it's side if I need to put it away to save space.
