Ended up stringing all 6 into j-box and connecting to a 2-prong plug going into a smart plug. Lights now controlled through voice commands through Alexa. I have 6 installed in my standard 2-car garage. Could have gotten away with 4 lights, but I wanted some extra brightness. I like the adjustable color settings.
