I bought it to replace a 15 yr old ZEBCO 33 that still works well, but is challenged with catfish over several pounds. Construction of the reels appears sturdy. Casting is smooth. Haven't caught anything of size to judge how it handles the load, but am confident it will hold up to the challenge.
