I used this on my Cub Cadet SC 500 HW push mower. The mower started to sputter a lot and was inconsistent, so that pointed toward the carburetor. I figured it would be easier to just replace it rather than meticulously clean it and so I did, and it was. It fits and looks almost identical as the original carburetor. Simple enough install and there are some videos online if you need a tutorial. I will say that most of the stuff that was included in this kit did not fit my mower. The gaskets aren't exactly the right shape. The air filter is not the correct size. The spark plug is incorrect. I won't knock points off for these however because all I really needed was the carburetor and it got the job done. Good value in the end.

Perfect fit, easy install, worked on first pull of the starter!!! Seems to be good quality, nice edges, no bad markings or extra material, no sharp edges. Kit came with a fuel filter, gaskets (simple ones so I used a better gasket material). Would recommend the product.

It did work fine and was easy to install. Very good value. As other posts have stated the gaskets were way off! I reused the old gasket. The fuel line and clamps seemed a different dimension so did not use. Nor did I use the spark plug as I had just replaced it recently with a new Cub Cadet spark plug so I will save it as a backup. All in all for the price, this was a good repair. Hopefully now I can return the $400 machine I bought from Ace Hardware as I did not add oil or gas yet ;-)

I was skeptical because of the low price, but decided to take a chance and I’m really glad I did. The carburetor is an identical replacement for factory one. Well, I was eager to get my Cub Cadet ST100 string mower running again., after at least 18 months of inactivity. I drained out all of the old gas and oil, and decided to replace the carb. The box arrived promptly, and then I was very surprised to see the worst packing job that I have ever experienced with Amazon. The spark plug was in a little box of its own. The air filter was in a plastic bag. And then everything that you see in the picture was simply thrown into a box with plenty of room to bounce around. The gaskets could easily have been broken, and they did not fit my ST-100 at all, so I decided to re-use the old gaskets. The fuel filter is also for a different engine; I had to place a separate order for the correct fuel filter. The air filter did fit, but the black rectangle was not present in the original so I did not use that either. I accidentally melted the original black tubing that vents the gas tank to the air filter, so I re-purposed the clear tubing from this kit to take its place. It was relatively easy to replace the old carburetor and put everything back together. I added some Techron as well as fuel stabilizer to the gas tank. Now the mower starts right away. So this kit is NOT an "exact fit" but probably is a generic fit where most of the parts fit most engines of this type. Anyway the most important part (carb) seems to work and the whole thing is low cost compared to finding and paying a mower repair shop.

Replaced bad carb on mower. 5 minutes to install. Primed mower and it started right up. Didn't even have to do any adjustments. Made my life easy.
