The reel seems to be of good quality, especially for the price. However, I had expected to simply replace a bad reel on a dock demon combo. But I found that the fishing line in this reel would constantly break. I removed the last 5 feet and it still broke. I kept repeating this process until I hopefully found some solid line that wouldn't snap, to no avail. Had to remove all of the fishing line that came in this reel and buy some new line.
