As I don't have any dive buddies yet I opted for a front zipper suit. This one fits comfortably and the sizing tables were accurate. (as I'm a beginner and never had a suit before, I'm saying it isn't too snug to restrict my breathing and isn't too loose as to allow pockets of cold water to form inside) Also, ease of putting it on is what I assume to be great, never had to use baby oil or whatnot. I'm average body type and slightly overweight. I've stuffed mussels into it while on shore, too. When fully zipped, it keeps the water out and body warm here in California.

Like to kayak, as long as the water isn't frozen. Bought the wetsuit for this purpose. Recently used a buddy's sit on top, 9.5, not very stable kayak at the Trapper John's area (2 inches of snow on land). Went swimming twice in the recently frozen water at the start of a 2 hour kayak and was still warm the rest of the row. Bought the gloves and the socks of the same manufacturer and was pleased with them, as well.

It would definately be better if they'd extend the ding dang zipper a couple of inches at the crotch end. It's a PITA trying to pee as it is. I wear a suit all day long when I put one one, and I'm not peeing in my suit thank you. So um, anyone listening? Make the zipper longer!! It's also a PITA to get out of, especially when you need to pee. But I can manage with a fair amount of contortionism. Otherwise, a fine suit. Holding up well, on my second cold water season.

I swim year round in an un-heated pooI but cannot get the zipper up on the 3 back zip full body wetsuits I own, basically I cannot put them on without help but I can get them off by myself when I get out of the water. Bought this ZCCO front zip wetsuit (hoping that I could get it on and off by myself.) Turns out that I can get the ZCCO on by myself, but I do need help getting it off. Have used the ZCCO once so far, swimming in 61 deg f water. I also used a t-shirt, a skin, gloves, booties, 3mm vest and a hood with goggles. Usually I use a Hend Therm 5mm Pro Large, the ZCCO kept my core really warm but it is not as flexible as the Hend Pro. Still I like the feel of the ZCCO, no lack of warmth for my application and I think less cold water gets into my back area than with my Hend. Sizing I am 5'10" 160 lbs and my legs are kind of long for my body and my chest is 42.5". Bought the XL size as reviewers here said buy the next size up even though the XL says for 175 lb to 190 lb. Glad I bought the XL, Large would have been too small for my application. Would fit me perfectly if the arms and legs were an inch or two longer although the length is not an issue for me when using gloves and booties. 5 zippers total (1 on each leg and 1 on each arm) is a nice touch and helps with putting the ends of your gloves and booties inside the wetsuit. I look forward to swimming in the ZCCO in cold water again! So far it looks like a good wetsuit for the money. Update-Ok 5 stars now. This ZCCO is my go to cold water wetsuit as I figured out that I can use a wooden handle to shove the wetsuit off of my shoulders, from the front (see photo) Basically I can get the wetsuit on and off by myself, when the suit is wet or dry. This ZCCO 5mm is my only full body wetsuit (I have 4) that I can get on and off by myself.

My husband is 5'6" and 220-224 lbs. The 3XL was too tight, could NOT get it zipped up. The suit is made in China so maybe sizing is different than for U.S.A. ?!? We are not concerned about the length, he PU some dive boots so can either tuck in bottoms or cut the off..not really that important, but needs to be able to fit into the suit comfortably. That being said, we returned thed 3XL and ordered the 4XL. THE 4XL WORKS.. as I said, to long, but works we can zip him in!
