update: 8/1/2022, still the same great tips.. UPDaTE: reordered these again and glad to see they are the same thick tips as before and not the thin ones that tear after a few uses that are being sold by some others!! these are worth buying and work well even on textured paper like screen protectors. these work perfectly for my every day ipad use that don’t involve fine print drawing and writing. they have reduced the annoying tapping sound made worse when i have a migraine by about 90% so am happy with these for sure.. So far i have had no issues with them, no lags/etc. except when i first put tip cover on and don’t push them on tightly enough. as long as you push them snugly onto tip, they will work great with 2nd gen apple pencil.. i don’t have a glass screen protection on my ipad pro though so i don’t know if these work just as good with one on or not..

I got the assorted color pack because it was the cheapest at the time and it appears as though not all of the colors have the same thickness. The pink one broke very fast for me, I think because it was very thin, while the blue variant is much thicker, but it also writes smoother and seems like it will last a long time. The white nib was somewhere in the middle, lasting a decently long time. I would probably recommend the writing experience of the blue nibs the most, but the white one was okay too. These nibs have saved me so much money, as I write with a lot of pressure on the pen and was going through the actual pen topper within a matter of days. Been using these for about a month and the pen topper has no signs of damage. One nib seems to last for 2-3 weeks for me as a heavy note-taker using a lot of force when I write (minus the pink one for whatever reason that broke in only a couple of days). Again, the writing experience seems to vary from color to color, but I've enjoyed the blue nib writing experience the best because it's the thickest and doesn't pull on the glass like rubber sometimes wants to do.

These little nibs are great.. unless you need to write notes very quickly. They slightly stick to the screen, making quick handwriting very messy and sometimes cause the screen to not sense the pencil tip as easily. It silences the loud tapping sound of the apple pencil against the screen, and it does feel nice writing slowly, though it is very difficult to sketch or to write with any quick strokes. They do look very cute though, they just don't work for my exact uses.

I always struggled with my apple pencil, and looked up ways to make it "grip" These little caps were the cheapest option and HOLY COW do they work. They create a nice amount of drag so that I can feel the pencil move against the device. Great for beginners learning digital art techniques on the ipad, or if you struggle with mobility with your pencil tip sliding around. Such a great solution and wonderful value.

I used this for nursing school for one day of note taking and I wrote a hole through the rubber... I was so sad because I hate the tapping of my Apple Pencil but this doesn't do the trick at all

The kids I nanny for like to color on my iPad, so I got these to keep them from tearing up my pen nibs and my screen protectors. It works great for them to color with and thus far there are no issues! I do wish they were a little more snug on the pencil, but overall they seem to fit great and work well.

Bought this small pack as I just wanted a couple new tips for my Apple Pencils (1 & 2). However, while they fit well and stay on, they are very slick, proving useless with iPads which utilize smooth glass screen protectors. They’d be perfect for use with Paperlike screen protectors though. Most sellers of silicone tips note this crucial information for potential buyers, but at the time of my order no such distinction was provided. This is a good buy of quality tips, in a useful case, but only for those seeking silicone tips without the grippiness that provides control on smooth glass writing screen surfaces.
