The inverter compressor makes a noticeable difference compared to my new wall AC. It reaches the set temperature quickly and then maintains it without constantly running at full blast. My rooms were comfortable within minutes. Whisper quiet. At thing is genuinely quiet. That was honestly a surprise given how much cooling power it's pushing out. The dual hose is worth it. It fits the window and comes with many options to adapt. Setup was easy. Window kit installs without tools. One thing to know: this unit is heavy. Getting it up a flight of stairs solo is a real workout — I'd recommend having a second person for that part. Once it's upstairs and in position, the wheels make it easy to reposition on flat floors. Arrived fast, well packaged, no damage. For a home without central AC or with rooms that central air just doesn't reach well, this is a serious upgrade. It saved me to install a full central system in my unit. With AC as powerful as this, two installed on each side will save you money compared to central air.

I’ve been using this ZAFRO 16,000 BTU portable AC for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really happy with it. It cools fast and runs surprisingly quiet — way quieter than I expected for something this powerful. I can actually keep it on at night and still sleep fine, which wasn’t true of my last portable AC. Setup took a little patience — it’s a dual-hose system, so getting the window kit in place took about 20+ minutes the first time. Once it was in, though, everything worked smoothly. The hoses are a bit stiff, but that’s minor. The app control is a nice bonus. I can turn it on before I get home or adjust the temp without getting up. The remote works well too. I also like that it doesn’t need constant draining — it evaporates moisture on its own, which saves time. The unit is on the heavy side, but the built-in wheels make it manageable. This AC is straight up AWESOME! First of all, it has an app that makes it super easy to use from anywhere in your house with a really cool layout. Second, it's extremely powerful, I got the 16000 BTU model and it cools my entire apt (about 600 sq ft) super fast. Finally I love the look, its really a well made and beautiful machine with very pretty green trim lighting a sleek design so it actually looks really good in my living room as opposed to window units. I would definitely recommend this AC to anyone in the market for a portable AC!
