I researched a great deal before buying these brakes for my suburban, because we frequently use it to to a a 5500lb travel trailer, with 6 people and all their stuff too. That much weight can heat brakes quickly when towing in hilly terrain, and the last thing you want is brake-fade in those conditions. The OEM brakes from Chevy wore out VERY quickly from all that towing, so I wanted something that could outperform OEM. These brakes are advertised to have longevity, while combining solid stopping power, great heat dispersion, low brake dust, and without squeaking problems. So far we've towed with them once (about 300 miles), and put about 2500 total miles on them, and they've performed exactly as they're supposed to. I purchased these for my 2007 GMC Sierra new body style. I have always felt the breaks were under sized during hard stops and especially when towing a heavy load. This is not the case anymore. These pads are a true performance upgrade even on the stock rotors. When you need more stopping power these pads grab hard, hold and bring the truck to a fast stop. I cannot say anything bad about them. I have gone through one set already and am on the second. Worth the extra cost. Very noticeable difference in braking! ... show more

Sept 17th 2017 , Perfect fit on 2006 Silverado front pads. Very easy to put on and great that the pads came with new metal retainer clips also brake grease in the kit. Highly recommend these Power Stops. Second time in using them. First set that was just replaced was installed in 2015, 30 months of use, roughly 35k miles, pads had an even set of wear. Hard stop and go traffic in North Central California plus towing makes you want to have great stopping power, which these Pads provide. ... show more
