I gave this 5 stats because I had bought this for my 10 year old grandson 2 years ago. He loved and is still riding it. The 2 I bought now are for my granddaughters for Xmas so I will post another review then.

Fun, good excersise. Kids love it. 8 yr old son and 14 yr old daughter. Only negative is it squeaks from the first use! Wd-40 not helping!

There was much consideration about returning it because I didn't notice it was for 7+ when I ordered it, but it had great reviews. It's super stable and my daughter took to it quickly. She loves the brake. She can make it move. Obviously, she's not moving fast right now, but we'll have to get a helmet and elbow pads soon as I suspect she'll move quickly sooner. It's perfect for the COVID lockup because she's crazy bored. Love the brakes. Love how it folds up like an umbrella. ... show more

    • Nice and fun product for the kids and adults alike!
We ordered the Carver after doing a lot of research on fun and new outdoor equipment for our kids. The Carver was easy to assemble and relatively easy to ride. Both the adults and the kids were able to hop on, and learn to maneuver it within a few minutes. Some improvements that can be made in my opinion: 1. Design doesn't allow for the Fliker to go back. Meaning you can only push it forward. If you need to back it up, the wheel won't allow it, you have to actually pick up the Fliker and turn it around. This was a bit of an inconvenience for my 10 year old, who found it difficult to lift it (it's pretty heavy) and turn it around when she hit a dead end while riding. 2. While riding, you can hear a bit of rattling. My husband had to constantly adjust it, as the handlebars would start to rattle every so often. Other than those points above, I think this is a great and fun product for everyone. It gets the kids outside for hours of enjoyment! ... show more

Bought this as a gift for my 8 year old son. He loves it and it was easy to put together (just screw on handlebars). No complaints! The mechanism to self-propel works but may take a couple days to get the hang of it. He was able to use the self-propel mechanism to go uphill (smaller incline not very steep), although he needed to have some momentum going into it. If going from a stop, he has to be on a level surface or downhill to use the self-propel mechanism. ... show more

Bought this for my sons 6th birthday, it looks very big on him but he’s able to maneuver it very well. I’m happy I bought this size and not a smaller one since he will eventually grow into it. He loves it!!
