I live in a warm climate, but was heading to New York City over the holidays. A cold bell was coming in and I did not have the right clothing for it. I want to get a long coat that was warm enough, but not break the bank because I would only wear it for a week. This jacket was perfect. It was comfortable and warm. It kept me toasty, but not overly hot even in pretty cold temperatures. Added benefit that it was waterproof because one day the snow turned to rain and I still stay dry. I’d say for sizing it was true to size. I’m really glad I made the purchase and feel like it was money well spent.

I ended up needing to order 3 of these coats for sizing and the zipper. Zipper issue that some in other reviews have mentioned is correct. The zipper is nice and heavy, but it is sometimes difficult to connect at the bottom. I did return one of the coats for this reason. I am 5'8" and 165 lbs. The coat has nice sized pockets and the length hits just barely below my knees. The sleeves are a bit long so when I'm driving I turn them up, otherwise I just leave them down for more warmth. I ended up keeping the XL (in green - love the color). I could wear the Large, but was afraid it would be too uncomfortable with a heavy sweater or bulky sweatshirt. I really love this coat. It's a bit heavy, but warm as can be! I love how the furry lining also lines the hood as well. I live in Michigan and the weather has been in the below zero temps but this coat keeps me warm. I would buy this again.

I love this coat! I needed a longer heavy coat for an upcoming trip to Norway. It fits perfectly and feels so nice and comfortable. The weight of the coat surprised me, it's a little on the heavy side, but I think that only adds to the warmth. I read lots of reviews before purchasing and I was concerned about the location of the side pockets. Some reviews said they were too far back to be comfortable. The pockets on the one I got are perfectly located so the designer either changed it or I got a different coat. The quality of the zipper is great, and it works smoothly. I would definitely recommend this coat for anyone who wants a long, warm and stylish coat.

This is a great Fall to Early Winter coat, definitely not a puffer jacket and not down. It's warm and cozy and nice and long to keep the cold out, but it is not a coat for below 20 degree weather. I wish I had gotten this when my son played Soccer, this would have been great for the cold Fall games!!

Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. The XL fits better than the L despite my measurements being more suited to the L according to their own size guide. If wearing a thick sweater or sweatshirt underneath, I recommend going up a size. (The friendly Yusongirl customer service was very accommodating with what I needed.) The material thickness was surprisingly thinner than I expected from my first puffer & fleece lined coat, but I'm glad it doesn't hang as a heavy weight; it's comfortable & I can move easily. This is not a stylish coat, but it is a practical one if you prefer warmth over appearance. Typically, I find hoods to be useless, but this one, even without a drawstring, cradles my head without leaving large gaps, which would let cold air swirl around my neck & ears. The strong zipper goes all the way up through the neck collar, providing a protective barrier around the throat & chin, also. The pockets are my least favorite, but they are adequate, not a deal breaker. I don't like that they are on the side seam. I fumble trying to easily slip my hands into them because they're positioned so far back on the hip's side seam. I suggest carrying your mobile in the interior pocket instead of one of the outer pockets, because it will likely fall out, like mine did when I squatted to pick up something. Primarily, I am wearing this coat---its length reaching to just under my knees---during my daily walks despite the cold snap. Temperatures have ranged from 32 F to 44 F with wind chill factors being bitingly colder, & the coat is keeping me well insulated! I chose green because it's my favorite color & I like this shade just fine, but if I were to buy another, I'd choose the dark yellow to be more visible when walking. I cannot speak to to its waterproof effectiveness, but I'll trust it is. If it's not, I'll amend my review. Moreover, I don't understand the descriptor, "reversible." I cannot imagine why someone would want to wear the sherpa fleece on the outside, to say nothing on how that would quickly downgrade the quality of the fleece. For reference, I am nearly 6' & range 165 - 170 pounds.
