It does have 2 handles built into the cover which are sturdy and nice, but I am old and this is way heavier than I thought. On the one hand that is good if you are not trying to move it, it gives it stability and substance. Great for kids. I have not been able to get it to settle in, it won't puff out completely. Know that this is not a bean bag, it's a foam bag. Mixed pieces of scrap foam provide the filling. Although this bag is well packaged, getting it ready for use takes some effort. You need to roll it around on your floor for a few days as the foam expands and supposedly breaks into smaller pieces. The larger pieces do not break down much. This foam filled chair is GIGANTIC! It was packed nicely and took about 2 days (as instructed) to completely puff up and when it did - whoa! Even at almost full size, the cover was super easy to put on because the zipper is high quality, very large, and super easy to use. The outside fabric is soft and comfy and the whole thing is cozy and fun. My kids particularly like doing cannonballs onto it (🤦🏻♀️).
