They do occasionally get dull and tear, I duct taped the first one but this material will be harder to fix. Already have my eye on the next one I will buy because there is so many styles. I like the size of the bean bag. Bigger than I expected but not crazy huge. The shag I imagine can get dirty pretty easily with my two cats but itโ€™s not scratchy material and looks very plush. Bean bag already comes pre filled.

After researching tons of different soft, beanbag chairs, I am very happy with my purchase, and the one I selected! I appreciate how the chair came in a giant box so all you had to do was pull it out and use. No set up necessary. Also cute how the box can be turned into a castle for kids. I think the beanbag chair is good quality and so far the fuzz seems to be good quality too. I like the off-white color as well. I am a full grown adult, 5โ€˜,6โ€œ and I sit in it comfortably. But definitely obvious these little chairs are more for kids, teenagers and small adults. It is very comfortable, but the one thing is the back rest basically has zero support so sitting in it with my laptop might not be successful without a little backache. Or you have to slump down into it a lot. Overall, very happy with this purchase for what it is and a good price! It fits perfectly in my home office. :) ... show more

I could not wait for my Big Joe Milano Beanbag chair Ivory shag to come when I first placed my order (I mean the name itself! c'mon! how do you NOT want something named "Big Joe Milano"?!). I bought them for our office for a lounging corner to relax in when work gets stressful. All in all they are very comfortable to relax in. The beans DO move around a bit and can cause the shape of the chair to distort, but you can fix it by flipping the chairs upside down so that the beans are evenly dispersed again. Came with fast delivery, great packaging; was able to just use straight out of the box. I love the way it complements my bedroom and makes a cozy comfortable space. The beans inside conform to the shape of your body, but I put it up next to a corner wall for more firm back support.

I bought two of these chairs in white, here's the good, the bad and the ugly: Cons: 1) REALLY not filled enough. I had to buy more filler within a week of use and it's only my 7 and 3 year old daughters (weight 50 lbs and 30 lbs) each sitting in their own chairs, not grownups or heavy people. 2) Smelled a bit chemical when came out of the box but I left it outside on our screened-in deck and the smell lessened substantially (not completely) within 24 hours. It no longer smells bad. 4) Refill material cost me $37 to plump up my brand new chairs ): 3) No way to wash the cover. I would have liked if it could be removed to be washed occasionally. Pros: 1) I solved the saggy, not-filled-enough problem by purchasing 10 lbs shredded memory foam for filling bean chairs (from a company on amazon) it worked WAY better than the beans. The foam perfectly filled my two Milano bean chairs, one 5lb bag in one, the other 5 lb bag in the other. Now the chairs are totally full, much better supported, and will hopefully remain so for a long time before I need to refill again. 2) My kids LOVE the chairs. Love them. They are like giant fluffy bird nests and my daughters like to sit in them every day to look at books or relax. In fact, the reason I bought two was because I got one for our younger daughter but our older daughter loved it so much, I knew we needed a second one and ordered it that day. 3) They look nice in our livingroom. They are for the kids but they look nice and add a cozy touch to the room, they make a cozy livingroom nook which is very inviting for the kids. 4) The castle cut-out box playhouse was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the first chair's box was beat up and we didn't use it but the second chair's box was perfect and we did cut it out (it's actually perforated cardboard so it's easy to do) and make the castle clubhouse, our 3 year old loves it. Our 7 year old is a bit bummed that her box wasn't in good condition, but she's a bit big for it anyway. 5) Some reviewers mentioned shedding. They only shed the first couple of days, they don't shed anymore, at least nothing noticeable (and I'm a pretty neat person who would notice something like that). They are not shedding on the rug they're on nor on my kids' clothes anymore. I would purchase this again only because my kids totally love them. That's why I bought memory foam to plump them up rather than return. To be honest, without the foam, they'd probably be a pathetic heap of fluff in a couple of months since they didn't seem full out of the box, and within a week they were noticeably sagging - again, that's with only two light little girls sitting in them. ... show more

I. Love. This. Beanbag. Itโ€™s so soft and comfortable, I use it every day during school and I love it. So glad I decided to buy it, hasnโ€™t needed to be refilled or anything and we got to turn the box it came in into a castle for the neighbor! If youโ€™re looking for something soft and cuddly to work in then this is it. I will note that upon arrival the beanbag smelled a little weird? Almost like a mix between cardboard and factory. After being doused in lavender essential oils however, the smell has pretty much gone away. ... show more

This chair is amazing, easy to move but also seems sturdy. The only complaint I have is you can hear the beans rustling and settling in it when you hardly move. Note: I got this for our nursery where it needs to be quiet for keeping the baby asleep. Aside from that, itโ€™s great!
