Exactly what I wanted. I wanted a big bowl to put big salads in and these are perfect. There's plenty of room for everything I want in one bowl. The flat shape is what I wanted to be able to visualize all the ingredients with enough of a lip so that nothing falls out. It's like a pasta bowl but oversized. Also, these are really beautiful. It's a lovely shade of blue swirled with white. I've washed them in the dishwasher a couple of times without any problems, but I usually just hand wash because it's super quick and easy to wash up with a soapy brush. They are on the heavy size so they feel very stable and durable. They are of course, breakable, but they don't feel fragile at all. If you're looking for a larger bowl to use as a serving bowl or a whole meal bowl, that's stylish and beautiful, I highly recommend these and would definitely purchase again. ... show more

These were an awesome discovery. My family loves heaping plates of saucy pasta and these deep plates are a genius fit. And you can pile the bread or salad on there too. One bowl was more swirly than the other, but big deal. I ordered the blue. They both are nice to look at and fun to use. These bowls are awesome! I was sick of stoneware which chips easily and looking for something durable and these are wonderful! Very substantial weight. Dishwasher safe nice glazed finish and large size for pastas or big salads. We have 4 - should maybe get more before posting such a great review.

Very clean, polished serving dishes. Not 100% symmetrical but that's not noticable unless you're stacking them. They don't wobble on a flat table. No cracks or chips. Worth the price imo.
