perfect for pool exercise! These are exactly what I needed for my daily pool aerobics. The triangle shape is perfect for staying put when I place them on the side of the pool, the round ones had a tendency to roll away. The resistance is the perfect amount for a toning workout in the pool. Quality seems good, and I expect them to last a while.

[March 2025: My unbiased review of "Yummy Sam 2Pcs EVA Foam Dumbbell Pool Exercise Equipment Water Dumbbells Water Aerobics Equipment Arm Weights for Women Water Weights Fitness for Weight Loss Blue& White"] We have a swim spa and I wanted to get these foam water dumbbells as an additional item to add to our exercise routines in the spa. They're not large, but seem to provide a decent amount of resistance without putting stress on the joints. I decided to get these triangular ones, thinking that might add some extra resistance by pushing the flat sides around in the water, but I intend to get some of the much more common round ones so I can compare the two kinds. The brightly colored foam is lightweight and the dumbbells float well, even after being submerged underwater, making them easy to handle during exercises. They also dry quickly after use. I chose the blue and white color scheme to match our pool colors, and they seem durable enough for regular use, but I'll report back when/if they fail. The black grips are comfortable to hold, though if the surface was a bit more textured it would make them even easier to grip when they're wet. They work well for a variety of movements, from arm curls to shoulder presses, adding some challenge to a water-based fitness routine. Please remember that these are only meant for resistance training in water - they are not for use as flotation devices.

I have never used water dumbbells before, but I do a lot of my exercising in the pool, so thought I would see how these added to my workout. Since I have never used this type of equipment before, I wasn't really sure what to look for. These are very buoyant, which in the water environment means they are pretty heavy weights. I feel like these are useful for triceps workout (since you have to push down to activate). I felt that I was sort of fighting keeping my shoulders down, so be aware if you are going to use them, so you don't injure yourself. I did struggle with assembly with these, as the pipe was a little bigger than the hole, so I had to sort of ram it in. It takes a bit to get it connected up. Once it is connected though, it seems very secure. I just wouldn't recommend if you plan to disassemble for travel or something like that. I haven't used them long enough to know the longevity, but so far I haven't seen anything that makes me think they are poor quality.
