fixtures are beautiful, well made but there were 2 chips in the globe where the set screws entered the base. It is apparent the damage was a result from shipping / handling. Had the collars not been shipped installed, the damage would not have occurred. The collar is a flange that the globe attaches to with 3 set screws. The collar has threads to attach the cover and access the light bulb. The screw on cap covers the chips in the globe so I did not return the fixtures. Outside of the minor shipping damage, very pleased with the light fixtures. We use these lights over a center island in our kitchen ... show more

These lights are 3 times the price of most pendant lights I looked at and worth it. They are a focal point and very beautiful. The bottom of the lights are solid glass (very heavy) and likely difficult to manufacture. The process creates tiny snowflake cracks you can't see unless you're extremely close. One light had a bigger snowflake crack (nickel sized). I emailed them at 8pm at night. They responded immediately, went back and forth with pictures, and they sent a new light the next day. Great service. Only bad thing I can say is they are difficult to clean inside of. ... show more
