  • Works great
When I went to ordered the battery it said 3 days delivery. After I paid it came back 2 weeks for delivery. But it came in 1 week. It worked out of the box, I hope it lasts as long as the original battery did. I got 5 years out of that one.

  • Best battery possible! Yuasa Japan! A++
Yuasa Japan makes the most dependable longest lasting batteries in my many years of motorcycling experience. I have consistently been getting 5+ years on multiple motorcycles I own. This last Yuasa purchase to replace a battery on a 2000 year Honda RC51. The original Yuasa in that 2000 Honda lasted over 6 years. The first replacement I purchased for that 2000 Honda was a Yuasa original spec replacement. And it just died so from around 2006 until now in 2016 I have had 1 brand new purchase Yuasa in my 2000 Honda motorcycle! That's 10 years folks! I start it every week to circulate fluids and charge it up. It gets a slow charge 1 time a month wether it's winter or summer. Its a slow trickle charge charger from hunting section walmart 12v-6v selectable $12.99. Low amperage charge and indicates when fully charged. Again 10 years on last Yuasa battery purchase! It is the only battery in my ATV's, street bikes, and everything else I can buy them to fit for. They are serious quality. And have never left me stranded. Something to think about when you go motorcycling by yourself and take a stop to enjoy scenery in middle of nowhere with no one else around for hours!!! Again never left me stranded and have always had 5+ years service life from every Yuasa I've purchased. So when it comes to $ think now about when a cheap crappy battery is going to strand you either in cold or extreme heat or just whenever, the headache isn't worth what the difference in the price of Yuasa battery vs. whatever you think you've saved. Enjoy those savings when the tow bill and headache and ultimately another battery purchase is looming. Good luck on your decision of a battery. This is experience from a 3rd generation motorcyclist. My forefathers ran Yuasa also! ... show more

  • It works like a motorcycle battery
Although I always keep my motorcycle batteries on a tender, batteries don't last forever and mine give me plenty of warning when they are finally giving up the ghost. The bike will briefly stall just as it's starting and my tripometer will reset. It does this for a few weeks and then the battery goes bye bye for good. So I got out ahead of it this time and bought this battery after it happened a couple of times. So far, so good. Nice and peppy. Fast starts. Takes a full charge quickly like a new battery should. I expect it to last 4 or 5 years at least. I'll update if there's any surprises. ... show more

  • Only getting 2 years on these things.
I've got a 2013 Honda NC700X DCT and I only got 2 years on this battery before I started getting the dreaded click when I hit the starter. The factory battery (same brand and model) did the same thing after 2 years, then I flogged it with a jump starter for another year. I'll be flogging this thing too, because 2 years is ridiculous. I could forgive the first battery dying early, because I wasn't on the ball with a trickle charger, but I was extra vigilant with this battery and it still failed after 2 years. I won't be buying Yuasa anymore. I have a 2001 CBR929 where the Yuasa batteries intermittently wouldn't crank after about two years. I managed to flog my last battery to 4 years by disconnecting the headlight before starting and just push starting the bike when all else failed. Can't push start the NC700X since it's an automatic. And I'm off in the dirt sometimes... so, not cool! I'm trying an A/C Delco in the 929. Even if it only lasts 2 years, it was like 1/3 the price of the Yuasa. I haven't decided what to do about the 700X. For now, I'm just going to use a jump starter since the battery still works immediately after charging and if the moon and stars align properly it sometimes works when I'm out riding. I wish you could push start an automatic. Even better, I wish you could rely on batteries lasting 5 years. It's 2018 people. The named brand stuff was actually reliable in the 90's. Update 10/15/2018: Okay, it looks like this a charger issue. I've got a Yuasa YUA1201000 charger and a Battery Tender Jr. Neither get this battery working. I ended up putting the battery on a 15.3V DC adapter overnight and now it is working again. Let's see how long it lasts. If I get another two years out of it then I'll add another star. I had rated this two stars, but I'll put it at three for now. ... show more

  • Fits my 2007 Honda VFR800
Put it on my 5amp battery charger when I got it and it was charged in under 5 minutes. Installed very easy and fit like a glove in my 2007 Honda VFR800. I let it charge for 24hrs then pushed the button and she fired right up. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Quality product.
