Excellent little safe BUT... Be very sure to verify that the safe does not open with any fingers other than the one you programmed. I got it wrong the first time and if you get it wrong any finger will open it. Seems to be quite secure and works pretty well. I initially thought it was unsecure because it would open with any finger I tried, but that turned out to be an ID-10-T (idiot) operator error. I did not follow the directions properly programming it. Worked great under bed so bought another for another room. Finger print works can't use another finger etc.

    • If you are looking for security, look elsewhere.
Total junk. Your valuables would be safer in an envelope. The finger print function does not work correctly and nearly anyone can get to open. If you use the key to lock it, the security is better, but I was able to open it with a pair of pliers instantly by forcing the knob.

Product is as advertised. Easy to set up and use the fingerprint option. There is also an option to use keys, but they also cover that up so someone wouldn’t know it’s a key hole just from looking at it. I like the options of having both. And you can add multiple fingerprints if there are other people you’d want to have access to the safe. ... show more

I bought this little lock box for my elderly parents, who have a new housekeeper. I wanted them to have a safe convenient place to store their valuables with fingerprint technology so they didn’t have to remember where they hid a key or remember a combination. This is a good sturdy unit, however, the key is difficult to get into the lock, and the knob one uses to lock and unlock the safe is small and difficult to operate. It feels cheaply made.
