What I don't like about this product is that the label says "6000mg," but in order to consume 6000 mg you must consume 6 tablets!! They are huge tablets. The dosage per tablet should be what is advertised on the label. I would gag if I had to swallow 6 of these. Also, they taste meaty and gross. I was taking the Target brand, Up & Up collagen pills and they were much better (also big, but they were 2500 each so I would take 2). Returning these for a refund. ... show more

    • Works... if you believe in a placebo
First of all- to get the serving size you need to swallow 6 (!) pills! And also this thing doesn't seem to make any difference. I'm not a person who falls for the magic effect of self reassurance so placebo effect don't apply to me, sadly. I saw an effect on my friend who tried collagen powders so I will get different types and see if any of them work at all. This one just seem like you are swallowing chalk every day for no reason.     • just half the recommended dose) my stomach was not feeling well at all
I wanted to try a collagen supplement to help with hair growth, and so I chose this brand. The directions say to take six tablets per day, all at once or in divided dose. The tablets are large, so be careful if you have trouble swallowing pills. I decided to start with only three tablets per day. I always start with a lower dose when trying a new supplement. I noticed that I had some stomach discomfort about an hour after taking it. And then stomach discomfort again on the second day. I figured my body just needed to get used to it, so I continued to day 3. Big mistake. By day 3 of taking these tablets (ONLY three tablets, just half the recommended dose) my stomach was not feeling well at all. Terrible stomach discomfort and other stomach issues. I'm certain this product was the cause. I wish I had done a little more research on this product before I purchased it. Apparently stomach issues are not uncommon with this product.     • Great pills/ Priced too high!!
I don’t take these for pain relief, I take them for my hair skin and nails. The value of what I got/paid isn’t great though. I went to Costco and paid the same price for 3 times the amount of pills. If you have a Costco near you check them, don’t buy off Amazon

I’ve always had stubby nails that would literally bend to the touch - or not even grow long enough to break. I’ve been taking these vitamins for almost 2 months now and my nails AMAZE ME! My hair is also much softer and healthier looking, as well. The only thing I dislike is that you have to take 6 pills a day. Seems excessive. At least the result makes up for it! ... show more

6 tablets a day! That’s a lot. I’m happy with the product but I may not repurchase only because I’d rather find a product that’s a regular 2 tablet max per serving. The tables are also large & im just not a fan. But the product serves its purpose, can’t complain about the results

    • extremely difficult to swallow
I didn't like the product because it was extremely difficult to swallow. Very large even when I broke them in half it was difficult because of sharp edges after cutting. I will not buy again.

After a couple weeks I haven’t noticed any major differences in my skin or nails (or pain - which I didn’t even know collagen alleviated). Could just be water pills. Won’t buy again. (Unless I see noticeable improvements to my skin.) Also, they’re huge horse pills which are typically fine with me, but sometimes I had to take extra swigs to get them down. Fairly tasteless with a hint of chalkiness. But the taste doesn’t linger. ... show more
