As a former machinist, I can tell you there’s not a lot going on here. Assuming this IS made from 6061, there is no reason you shouldn’t buy this by over the more expensive brand. Fit as expected. Finish is just like the photo. I bought this to replace a green one on my boat from TH Marine. The only difference, an o-ring. The only thing I did on install was add a little Vaseline on the orings.
