As a side sleeper, I prefer pillows on the firmer side, but this soft pillow is a great support for back and side sleeping. I recently had to do an in home (ambulatory) EEG, and with all the wires sticking to my head, this pillow allowed me to adjust it so I could sleep reasonably well. It's soft, has kept it's shape so far, and we're thinking of getting some for my son. Recommended! ... show more

I have been through a lot of pillows trying to find the "perfect" one. Bought this one and BINGO! I waited awhile to leave a review to see how I liked it. It's an awesome pillow. It's not too soft or not too firm, if that makes sense. It gives support but your head sinks in. You can squish it if you're a squisher. :-) If you are looking for a "feather or down-like pillow that is kind of floppy, this one is not for you. If you are looking for a really firm pillow, it's not for you. This one is the perfect mix of soft and support. I keeps it's shape and does not clump up like some other ones. Update 10/11/23: This has been thoroughly usurped by the Pineapple Moon Pillow. That one's not perfect (it lacks the flumph factor that a traditional goose down pillow has), but it's pretty dang close. Still get better curls with this one, though not sure why that is - less density, perhaps. The crinkle of the percale cotton is wearing off too. (All of you people who think it's plastic causing the crinkle...my friends, percale cotton's woven structure is what's causing that sound, you'll find it in high end cotton percale sheets. It's a sign of quality here, not some marker of cheap materials.) 8/12/23: If you've got mixed levels of curly hair like I do, you've probably tried the plopping method and satin pillowcases and all the other tricks. I tend to wake up with better curls if I go to bed with my hair still wet, though I've never had results THIS GOOD before. I can't tell if it's the percale cotton material or the way it's constructed with valleys or even if it's the filling, but with and without an extra cotton pillowcase, going to sleep on this with still wet or damp hair has yielded the most clearly formed curls of my life short of using curlers! If you have fine curly hair that you struggle to coax into clearly defined curls like me, this might be your new holy grail. And this pillow's machine washable to boot! That said, it's not quite the right pillow for me as a side sleeper. I've long needed a new pillow as I frankly haven't liked the one I've been using since i got it on 2020, but didn't dislike it enough to spend more money on a replacement. I finally caved and bought 2, this one and the Sleep Restoration pillows (because a review on the Beckham pillows mentioned they were identical but cheaper, I used the same pillowcase set on each). I've been using both for a couple weeks each to make sure I've given them a solid try, instead of being turned off just simply because it's new and unfamiliar. Pillows are intensely personal and we all have different preferences that are informed by everything from the weight of our heads to the angle of our shoulders. That said, this pillow, while having the most amazing loft even without fluffing (and plenty when fluffed), somehow has very little supportive substance in it. That's not to say it's a bad pillow - this one lets your head sink in, instead of the sort of pressure = compression feeling that most non-luxury pillows on the market today have. I don't like the feeling of a memory foam pillow, and this delightfully feels like a Real Pillow. For me, though, it's not quite stuffed with as much filling would be needed to support my head and neck when I turn on my side. It's there, but it needs extra help from a bunched up corner of my blankets or my arm. If you have narrower shoulders this might work for you as a side sleeper pillow, whereas if you have broad shoulders like me you'll probably get that same uncomfortable stretch in the neck from insufficient support. But I liked how this felt so much that I bought their other Moon Pillow (the one with green piping and embroidered pineapple) to test out, since from the product images that one is 8 inches tall where this one is 6 inches tall. Hoping that 2 inch difference in starting loft translates into the support I need for side sleeping. Review will be added (and this one updated) once I've thoroughly tested that one. Hoping that one is The One, or can be combined with this one to make the perfect pillow stack. In the meantime, this feels amazing stacked at the top of a pile for reading or watching TV. And bunching up for side sleeping is doable, just a bit of a pain when I can't find quite grab the right amount of blanket material. But I will say I reach for this one more than my original too-firm pillow and the Sleep Restoration pillow despite it not being thick enough for me, if that tells you anything. ... show more

These popped up on my recommended for you page. I'm always looking for pillows. I had a fusion on my cervical spine that failed. So, it causes pain in my spine, arms, hands, back and causes migraines. I'm a side sleeper... I've been having switch pillows depending on the time of the month, muscle tension, and which side I want to sleep on. Its been annoying. I thought the 3 geese pillows would help resolve because I could adjust them.. but seriously... who's is going to do that in the middle of the night? So, I ended up 6 pillows I rotate and pile throughout the night. I was getting tired of it... bc if its not just right the pain I have is 100x worse when I wake up or wake up with a migraine. I've been looking at a variety pillows since I've tried the bolsters, cervical pillows, feather pillows, shredded foam, gel, memory foam, copper, etc. These were a little expensive to try and just throw in the it didn't work for me pile. So, I waited for Black Friday and they went on sale and I bought 2. OMG. Where have these been my entire life?!?!? I want entire bed made of them and blankets.!!! They are amazing!!! They are so easy to adjust too. Either by hugging the pillow, arm on the pillow or underneath it. I fluff them every day - they don't really need it but I like the extra oomph. They are so soft, with lots of stuffing. The only drawback is the case you see them in permanent so... if you wash your pillowcases weekly with the rest of your bedding you are gonna need to wash your whole pillow. So, while they technically don't need a pillowcase, I'd recommend one. ... show more

I LOVE my pillow. I've had it for over a month now, still fluffy, like plopping my face into a cloud. It's not super soft like down, but has a bit more support. I'm a front sleeper, and it's perfect when I lay my face right at the edge. Also great for back sleeping. I do have to have another pillow under it for side sleeping, but thats how I prefer it anyway. Will definitely buy again when I need to. ... show more

I’ve been looking for a pillow for so long. I have bought so many pillows. This pillow is extremely soft, but also thick enough that it doesn’t flatten out. It’s bigger than a normal pillow, but fits in a queen size pillowcase. I’ve seen reviews about the noise or a smell. I do not smell anything but a new product and for the noise it’s like very low, crinkle noise that soothing to me but it’s just like a new product also like if you got a new bedspread that crinkled a little bit. Are all in all 10 out of 10!! I bought the two pack, but I will buy another two pack just in case they go up because this is the pillow for me. I sleep so well. ... show more

These are a down alternative, but, not the support of down. They are very soft and squishy. Not a good pillow for side sleepers. On my back was ok, and on my stomach, I had to be near the edge of the pillow, or I felt like my face was buried. I will keep them, but as guest pillows
