I was really impressed by the quality of this wool comforter. Not what I was expecting, and I was hesitant to make the purchase. I purchased it to go inside a flannel duvet cover in our rooftop tent. I am just too old to sleep in sleeping bags; I much prefer sleeping in real bedding that can be washed after use. I also do not like to sleep in anything synthetic (I guess this makes me a bit of a princess, but my body feels icky if it sleeps on polyester). This is lightweight, but warm! And the thread count on the cover is no joke. It has that awesome crinkle/crunch sound from high thread-count cotton percale. And since the wool is gusseted, there is no shifting. This is a blanket that I will purchase again (just as soon as I can justify it). I would have no qualms using this as a stand-alone comforter on top of the beds in my homes. It just looks elegant and crisp. I did wash it before first use. It went through the regular wash cycle and dry cycle with no issue. It really fluffed up after washed (it arrived very compressed). There was minimal lint in the tray, so thing escaped. Overall, just really well made and I can't wait for another excuse to buy it in a different color!

Bought twice, once as used, so it was cheaper and the second for my teacher who is in town. Both expressed great satisfaction on the quality and warmth of the material. Only thing is if no used, it is on the expensive side but I guess you get what you pay for. Like others said, no funny smell for those very sensitive to smell. Bought a cover to go with it. Nothing but high satisfaction and it looks so good and easy to fold after use. 100% sheep wool. No polyester and what not.

This is my first wool duvet, I've normally used down feather duvets in the past. I wanted to try the wool duvet because the down feathers tend to get too warm for me during this time of the year. I'm really liking this wool duvet so far. It's got a nice weight to it without being too heavy or too light. The cotton shell is soft and seems well made, and the wool stuffing also feels soft. It keeps me warm when my air conditioner kicks on while not making me sweat when the air conditioner turns off. I haven't been able to try it during the winter yet, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't keep me warm all winter. The washing instructions were not very detailed so I decided to play it safe and use a special detergent for wool. I also tumble dried it with no heat for a while then I laid it flat on the bed to finish drying. It came out looking brand new, and the wool stayed evenly spread out without bunching. I don't really care for the large label that is sown into the bottom corner, but it's not a big annoyance since I use a duvet cover. I'm afraid I'll mess up the stitching if I try to remove the label. I also don't understand the point of the little zipper that allows you to look inside of one of the duvet squares since there is a liner between the wool and the cotton so all I can see/feel when I open the zipper is the liner. The liner appears to be made of cotton and it's obliviously there to hold the wool in place. Another review mentioned that the liner may be a polyester or some other synthetic martial, but I'm thinking it has to be cotton or another type of natural material since the duvet is able to breathe a little and does not cause me to overheat like synthetic materials do. The only cons I've noticed so far when comparing the wool duvet to my down feather duvet is that the down feather duvet was fluffier and I didn't have to take any special precautions when washing/drying it. Overall I would still pick a wool duvet over a down feather duvet due to the ability of wool to regulate heat better.

I’ve been using the comforter for a few weeks now. A good weight for those that like a colder room with warm blankets. The ‘temperature regulation’ and breathable properties of wool do seem to work. Purchased this and a down comforter to replace an old down and have preferred the wool. The only downside is this moves around on the bed more than down. Uncertain if that’s the cover material, weight, etc. But it’s a minor inconvenience.

I love this wool duvet! Great for anyone but especially if you get hot flashes! It naturally keeps me comfortable; not hot or cold! It’s soft and is of medium weight. I’m still searching for an organic duvet cover for it. It’s white so it really needs a cover so it lasts a very long time. The organic cover I have isn’t breathable so I just lay it on top and at night fold it down at my feet or I still get hot flashes.

This all-season comforter is well-constructed has a soft, cotton covering. The wool filling is sewn into baffles to hold the wool in place and is very a comfortable weight. My old goose down comforter was worn out and I decided to try a wool comforter instead. I enjoy natural fibers whenever possible so I'm giving this a try and so far, it has been awesome. It has been placed inside a duvet cover to keep it like new.

I debated for a couple months before spending the money for two twin size comforters for my boys. I remembered how much better wool socks are for keeping feet comfortable and dry and decided to go for it. My boys Are 6 and 8 and they LOVE these. I think they go to sleep quicker with the weight of these. Not too heavy but very comforting just ordered one for my 90 year old mother in law and my husband and I. These are elequent and luxurious.
