I have a king-size bed that’s fairly low to the ground, and I decided to go with the 120x120 insert but use a 104x98 duvet cover to get that fluffy, “cloud-like” look — and it turned out perfectly! As a European, I grew up with real duvet inserts and remember my grandma making her own pillows from real feathers, so I know what true comfort feels like. This duvet is unreal. SO comfy, squishy and lightweight. My literal only complaint is that it only ties in the four corners, and it does shift a bit inside our duvet cover. Otherwise- this is worth every penny!

So I saw this comforter on ads and reviews after moving and was convinced to buy it myself. Ive had this comforter for almost two months and it is continually shedding. I thought it was just an initial thing so I kept it but til this day, there are constant feather strands floating around and little tufts everywhere. I even have a duvet cover, so I cant imagine how bad this issue would be if I didnt have a cover.. I guess the material of the comforter isnt good enough to keep it all in. I vacuum my room at a MINIMUM of once a week and these tufts of feathers continually keep showing up and when I am moving around in the blanket, the feathers often go in my nose and make me itchy lol. Especially when my AC is on and blows the little feathers everywhere. (Attached picture is after only a couple days of vacuuming) It is to the point of being annoying. Maybe I got a defective one or maybe others dont notice since they have carpet/rug but I regret getting this considering my previous comforter were cheaper and never had this issue. It is warm tho so Ill give it that. Just a FYI if you are looking to buy this comforter - beware of small clumps of down and down feathers floating everywhere ------- ONE YEAR UPDATE: This product has serious quality issues. Over time, it has constantly shed fine down particles, even while inside a duvet cover. The fluff gets everywhere, including into my AC unit (I’ve attached photos) and all over my room. It’s gotten bad enough that it’s started to trigger allergies. Even worse, several of the comforter’s squares are now completely flat and empty (also shown in the photos), while a few remain fluffy. This shows that it’s actively losing its fill. This comforter no longer provides consistent warmth or comfort. Ive reached out MULTIPLE times to the customer support but never received a response. For a product at this price point, I expected better quality and support. Only a year in and what a waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend this comforter if you want something long-lasting, allergy-safe, or well-supported by the company. I'm pretty impressed by this down comforter!! It does have a little bit of a funny smell when you first get it, but I put it in the dryer on air fluff with some fabric sheets and let it sit overnight and it was fine, plus the duvet cover blocks any smell anyway. The thickness of the comforter is AMAZINNNGG. I love the crinkle sound it makes and how warm it is. I got this in an oversize queen and it's the perfect size. It's very high quality for the price. I would definitely recommend!

I barely took this out of the shrink-wrap, so...can't comment on loft or warmth. The reason I put it right back is, I prefer the look of a duvet without a cover, and on this one, you can easily see black feathers which looks like many black stains :(. Obviously not an issue if you put a cover over it (unless the cover is really thin). If the cover that comes on the duvet was thicker/more opaque, I would have kept because... *Nice cotton cover on the duvet (I don't care for synthetic-looking polyester covers that come on some duvets) *Nice overall feel (not too heavy) *Great price

This is probably one of the most comfortable duvets I've ever used, very lightweight but also pretty fluffy to the touch. Yes, it may not look as fluffy as advertised but feels pretty plush and breathable! As a hot sleeper, it doesn't get too hot but it is notably a bit warm on the hotter nights, so warning advised for the hottest days during the summer. I can already tell I will get much better sleep once the temperatures really start to drop some! Now it does have a strong smell out of the box but once it's been a few days it won't be nearly as strong, and a duvet cover also seems to help plenty. It is also pretty crunchy but that is how it's supposed to feel brand new, it gets quieter over time as the cotton and feathers spread around inside and even out. However if you can't stand any crinkle sounds this might not be for you. Overall great duvet insert and highly recommend!
