Decided to bump up security lighting around the house after having some cars broken into in my neighborhood. I already have a security system, but nothing in the way of lighting as a deterrent. It took less than an hour to install 4 of these lights around my home and they went up in a snap!! The hardware seemed a bit lean for outside installation, so I switched up the screws to something a bit more substantial. The motion detection is on point, the lights were very easy to point in any direction, and they're nice and bright. A great value as a visible deterrent and to provide additional lighting for any visitors after dark!! Probably getting a few more for additional coverage and backyard lighting as well!!

This is a great product. very sturdy and does the job as described. Installation is a breeze. Side of the house is now well lit and gives me peace. Would buy it again and recommend to others. Having said all that, it was a very nice experience with the seller also. Great customer service that I loved. Had an issue with one of the item (I bought 4 units and one of them had a minor issue - the battery compartment was loose and did not fit correctly. And when I emailed the seller about it, he was on it very quickly and generous enough to send out a replacement fast). Note: This kind of good customer service did not affect my review. Its truly a great product and I am sure who ever buys it will be happy.

These are heavy duty (and heavily weighted) LED lights ... the 4-D-size batteries provide their mass, but I'm hoping the large batteries will also provide longevity in lighting -- these were installed in hard-to-reach ceiling locations without available electricity, and if I don't have to touch them again for a few years -- I'll be happy. I bought these because they provided the highest (600-lumen) brightness I could find, and I'm using them in pairs in enclosed places (a closet and pantry). So far, so good. The motion detector 'On' switches take a second or two to respond, but I believe they work consistently. The 30-second "Off" function seems to work quite well, once there is no more motion. The Customer Service has been excellent and quick-to-respond -- "Thanx!" Problems I've noticed: a). You can't install these on a ceiling to look straight down; the shafts holding the lights to the base are not long enough for a 90deg angle. b). My solution to (a) was to mount the lights high on the wall, just below the ceiling. But, to do this, it's very awkward tilting or rotating the heavy light case out of the way, to insert and install the screws holding the unit to the wall. c). The O-rings surrounding the battery case do not hold themselves well on the outer rim, and when they pulled themselves inwards -- I had a very hard time moving them back to their correct place. I cannot speak to the integrity of the O-rings when used outside in a wet location (my mountings were indoors).

I switched to this brand instead of buying the other brand, WHY? Better price and brighter light. It is easy to install almost anywhere on anything. Four D cell batteries ( Duracell fits best), and drill to mount the four screws, simple. I love them because I have at least a dozen around our property lighting up the trail below our house, along our very long country driveway. All the places you might want to light up, front door, back door and garage. The light stays on as long as there is movement, then shuts off. We especially like the lights when we put our dogs out for last potty call, lights up the backyard so we can keep track of them.

Nice,bright light,easy to install, very versatile. I bought 4 lights,only installed 3 so far. **One tip I will suggest**, put a piece of tape over the hexagon nut before any adjusting or mounting. You might need to move the light arm out of the way to screw the mount for installation. I lost 2 of the 3 because it don't take much for them to unscrew and fall out. Also one of my lights kept going off at 3:30pm (still light out)

The media could not be loaded. I live where there are many trees and street lights are for the city. The solar lights are great during the summer when you don't need them. I have tried many lights to light pathways, driveways, a pond, etc. These work perfectly! They are simple to set up -- add D batteries and your set! The come with the hardware to mount but these are well balanced and I am able to set them where I want without fixing them to a hard surface. They are very bright and the one I did mount to a post casts a beam about 10 feet wide. I've purchased 6 lights now and plan to buy more.
