This battery strap is a massive upgrade. It completely beats the standard Quest battery life and lets you play continuously for a long time. It's comfortable and doesn't add much to weight. The padding on the back of the head is really nice but hard to put on with a ponytail. Just a heads-up: the battery might not hit the full 4-hour claim, and installing the front strap takes a little patience. Pro-tip: use a bobby pin to guide the strap through the front slot. Highly recommend!

The bad: the battery may not last the 4 hours as it claims to. The good: it beats the pants out of just having the Quest battery and does offer the chance for continuos play for a long...long...time. Since I received it I have made the garage my Quest 3 playroom. I have yet to see my wife and kids. The front strap has a few tricks. I used a bobby pin to guide it through the front strap aperture. The set up itself is comfortable, balanced, and so easy to adjust. Careful. You might end up not wanting to come back to the real world.

Set name: 10000mAh
The strap and battery work perfectly without any issues. They evenly distribute the overall weight to avoid neck fatigue caused by holding your head up due to the VR’s weight. It’s very comfortable, and the material feels durable and high-quality. The built-in battery is excellent. It charged the Meta Quest 3 from 60% to 100% and still shows no signs of draining anytime soon—not even a hint of depletion—which is amazing. The only negative point I need to mention is the Velcro strap that attaches to the top of the Meta Quest 3. The space provided by the VR to thread the strap through is extremely small, and you have to pass the strap’s Velcro pieces through that area. However, these Velcro pieces are very large, and I found it quite difficult to pass them through the space—I even felt like I could break the VR if I wasn’t careful! I also think Meta poorly planned this aspect. I would have made the space larger or detachable to allow the strap to be attached without any issues. That said, once you manage to attach the strap, it fits perfectly. Aside from that minor detail with the Velcro, I think this is a spectacular strap!

I have been using this head strap for a number of months now. I have found it to be excellent. The weight of the battery nicely balances the weight of the Quest 3. Since I rarely play for more than 45 minutes at a time, the Yoges battery easily keeps the Quest 3's battery in the preferred 30%-80% range (even after multiple play-times) and does not over-charge it, allowing for rare strategic recharges of the Quest 3. The head strap is well constructed and farely easy to install (watch the multiple videos), despite the poor design of the Quest 3's power port. Excellent project - highly recommended.

Set name: 10000mAh
Bought this set when my son broke the others in his case. These are good and snug when placed on the head. A little bit more of a plastic feel to these than his last head strap but functional. The battery charges fast and does last longer than his original. The installation was so simple he was able to swap them out in under 2 mins and he is 10. The adjustable strap adjust great and keeps tight during play.

Okay so when I first got these they worked good they extended playing time on my meta quest 3's which was why I purchased them. Then one stopped charging the headset but battery worked on the other headset. I asked for a replacemwnt which Amazon gave and the new one came and it worked. I tried the one I was going to return on my 3rd quest 3 and that one worked too, so I never sent it back which was an option as they never sent a refund. Anyways now all 3 of them do not work at all. The headset prompts a warning and will not play until I unplug the cord from the headset. Now the only good thing is the headset itself is comfortable and that is why I am comfortable with the 1 star. I reached out to the seller via Amazon and have not heard back from them. This sucks!

I got this so I could have longer playtimes on my headset - this battery pack does that, but it does it in a manner that basically still guarantees your Quest running out of juice before a fully-charged battery has drained. Its charging rate is slow. You go from about 3 hours of playtime (PCVR streaming only) to 5 but only because of the trickle charge allowing the Quest battery to deplete. If it would support the native 30w Quest 3 charging rate, it could keep the battery topped off and guarantee that the add-on battery depletes before the Quest 3 does, which is what I was expecting to have happen in the first place. The head strap padding is nice but I do expect it will break down in a few months of constant use. Installation was easy enough. It is comfortable and very easy to adjust. The heft of the battery pack balances out the front weight of the headset to a fair degree.
