My lady and I work out at home. Gyms are expensive and don't have the equipment I like, so I've assembled a ton of gear at our house. For my calisthenics work I use mats, and over time those get funky. You can wash them but it's a pain; it's much easier to use a spray and a towel. I was looking for a good spray when I came across this one. It arrived in a nice bottle and fully intact, nothing spilled. I like this cleaner! It smells very nice, a smell that I don't find obnoxious when my nose is pressed down into the mat. It appears to clean well, pulling off dirt that I didn't even see on the mat. The towel turns pretty dark when using it. Once clean there doesn't feel to be any residue, but the mats are squeaky clean. Overall I'm pleased with this cleaner and will certainly consider getting more.

OMG this smells so good it seems too good for a yoga mat! It refreshes and gives my mat a lingering, clean smell of lavender and eucalyptus that lasts! It smells so good I even spray my sofa pillows with it! RECOMMENDED

Never thought I would be needing some cleaning items until our gym ran out of wipes to wipe down equipment, but this was a lifesaver for me. The smell itself isn't overwhelming and it effectively cleans the gym machines really well. For the size of the container and cost of the product, I personally think it's worth it, especially since if it is something you use on the daily. It doesn't leave a tacky residue either. I wish it does have a smaller version for travel, but its an easy fix.

I got this for my wife who practices yoga several times a week and wanted something to keep her mat clean and smelling fresh. This spray works really well—it goes on easily, has a pleasant eucalyptus and lavender scent, and doesn’t leave behind any greasy or slippery residue. Her mat feels refreshed after every use, and the spray bottle is a good size for frequent cleaning. Definitely a great addition to her workout gear—would recommend!

This is an excellent yoga mat cleaning spray. The scent is extremely pleasant and not at all overpowering. It also has a lasting effect so my mat always smells fresh, not perfumed. Simply spray all over your mat and then wipe with clean cloth. Bonus - you can use it on other gym equipment and gear according to the bottle instructions. I like that I can use this on shoes and bags too. The size of the bottle is perfectly adequate. Often times yoga mat sprays come in too small a size. With this one, I store it at home and use on my yoga mat once a week. I really love how it doesn’t leave a slippery residue. I like that the label is clearly and attractively designed. Language is straightforward. I highly recommend this mat spray. What I don't like about other cleaners for yoga Mats is usually there is a chemically smell left behind if you use a wipe or standard disinfectant spray. I also feel like those tend to be harsher on the soft mat's surface. So there is definitely room in the market for a safe, good smelling, gentle cleaner. But there is no way to guarantee that this is it. There is no ingredients list. There are some loose descriptions about what may or may not be in there, but how are you supposed to be able to tell if this can actually disinfect something? Especially with a yoga mat, your whole body touches that mat and sweats on that mat. you want to know if there's any harmful chemicals or anything that is going to get on your body. This definitely smells good. It doesn't have a chemically smell. It sprays as a fine mist and is easy to wipe. But none of that means anything if you can't guarantee what is in the product. If you were to spray anything directly on your skin or put anything into your body you would have to know exactly what it is. But because this goes on the mat, and then the mat goes on your body, I feel like they're trying to get away with not being transparent about what is in it because maybe they don't have to? Either way, it's not worth buying until you know what you're buying.

Others have pointed this out already, but I too immediately noticed there was no ingredients list. I should have examined the pictures here on Amazon more closely, and I would have known this. I would think anyone responding to the mention of 'organic essential oils' would also be someone that would want to know what else is in the spray. I care anyway. Sometimes you're laying right down on the mat and maybe kind of sweaty, so whatever is in this is going to mame contact with the skin. I did try using it on my mat so I could write a complete review. If it weren't for the ingredients issue I'd also take off a star or two just because the sprayer doesn't really pump out a good volume of the spray. I probably sprayed 20 times and I didn't get enough out to really wipe around. So I think the only benefit was that it gave my mat a very nice smell, and perhaps cleaned in the immediate areas around where the spray hit. That said, my mat is a very thick, well worn-in, rubber, Manduka mat so this could be part of the issue. Maybe a newer mat that was a little slippery already would do a better job of helping to spread the product around? But, it does smell really nice. Perhaps if someone was wiping down something that wasn't quite so absorbent this could be a practical spray,

I really don't use my yoga mat enough, but when I do I want it to be fresh and clean. This mat spray is easy to use and leaves behind a pleasant, lavender scent. And that does sort of make me want to practice more. If you need a mat cleaner, give this natural one a try!
