What a gorgeous mat! It's so soft and almost cooling. I absolutely love it and don't mind spending a little bit extra on a nice quality may. I also LOVE the strap that it comes with so I can just roll it up and head out to the park for some fresh air and some sun salutations. It's so beautiful, I could not possibly express how much I love this mat. If you have issues slipping then you can get a cheap 99cent spray bottle and spray a light mist of water to prevent this. I just use the condensation from my water bottle to wet my hands, then my natural sweat beats down like a disgusting salty waterfall and that is usually plenty to keep me from slipping. I will note I haven't had it long enough to wash yet, so if it totally falls apart then I will revise my post and show pictures if that happens. I also want to note that I am very happy I decided on the Lite, much easier to move around and the quality is top notch. VERY pleased with my purchase. Shipping was about 3 days with Prime. *************************************************** I have since washed it after a muddy camping trip on a cold delicate cycle and it came out clean and shiny again. Not a single rip, no faded colors and no separation from the plush microfiber top and padding underneath. It just simply is the most gorgeous and sturdy mat I've ever had the pleasure of owning!! Have only washed it twice since receiving it, and it is like I said above, on a cold/delicate cycle. So if your washed is not capable and you use it for hot yoga and it needs to be washed more I would be concerned. Only because it is not a cheap mat, and I wouldn't use this if I had to beat it up in the washer every other day. It's just too nice in my opinion. But if you're into daily yoga and like to take your mat on every little adventure that only requires once a month washing and a light disinfectant spray in between, then THIS is your mat! :-) **Also I added two more pics that demonstrates during the muddy yoga adventure, and then after washing it. It's still bright and gorgeous!**

I am so very pleased with the travel version of the Combo Mat. 1 - It's gorgeous. 2 - It really does fold well, and tucked right into my carry-on luggage. 3 - the microfiber top is super comfortable to practice on, and feels really good on your hands and feet. You do need to mist the mat lightly to dampen it before you begin your practice, otherwise it is slippery. However, once it's just barely damp and you start to sweat, this sucker is really grippy I used it in a pretty vigorous flow class during vacation, and felt solid on the mat even when I was super sweaty. My knees did hurt slightly in some of the kneeling poses, but it's a travel mat, so what you get in portability you lose in thickness. I really, really liked this mat and look forward to seeing how it holds up to use. It seems to be a quality product, and I will likely purchase the non-travel version in the future.

This mat is perfect for the yogi who, like me, works up sweat pretty quickly. If not, you can always dampen the mat with a spray bottle of water or essential oils mmmmm. The colorful, geometric pattern soothes my eyes and I love how the mat unrolls easily haha. Although it’s thin compared to most mats, I like that I can feel the earth more and don’t feel as wobbly as I do with the thicker mats. You may need a to provide a little bit of cushion for certain poses. I like how the mat can be washed in the washing machine, which I do once and awhile. Typically I spray it down with an essential oil yoga mat spray and wipe it down. Has held up so far (had mat for almost a year).

The photo doesn’t capture the beautiful shade of this mat. It’s more like a blue you’d see in the mediterranean. I reluctantly returned it because I was looking for a mat I could fold and travel with. You can fold this and there are no creases, however, it weight almost 5 lbs. it has a velveteen texture. The back is lined w a strong rubber. It’s also very thin. On a carpet, it may be okay, but on wood, I’m not so sure, however, I am use to a thicker pilates mat. You could almost use it as a rug. It’s very high quality.

This is a seriously beautiful mat, and Yoga Design Lab has been great about being touch to make sure that I was happy with my order, which is a nice touch. - I purchased the mat to use as a travel mat. It is a little bit heavier than most mats, and I could see fitting it in a suitcase being challenging -- but it rolls up very compactly, and I plan to take it with me when I travel and just carry it as a carry on. - I love the texture of this mat. I have rather sweaty hands and typically use a yogi-toes towel on top of Gaiam Sol mat. Since I received this mat, I've been using it on top of my Gaiaim Sol instead of my towel. You do need to wet the surface down before you start to get a good grip, but it is very easy to do. I just take a damp cloth and run it over the surface, which is also a great way to clean the mat at the end of a practice.

I really like this yoga mat. It's thin and folds easily, but not so thin that it moves or bunches while using it. It absolutely, positively needs to be wet to get grip, I usually just pout a little water on it from my water bottle to make sure it's soaked. Also I noticed that when it's wet the colors on the mat pop a lot more, so it looks more like the stock picture. At first I thought it looked a bit dull compared to the stock photo, but it turns out that it just needs to be wet. Either way I think it's a beautiful and functional mat.

I purchased this mat two years ago and I cannot say enough about how much I love it! It is lightweight, durable, and beautiful. I use it on the beach, in my house, at the gym, and I take it everywhere I go. It’s been through rain storms and all sorts of other abuse, and it still looks as beautiful as it did the day I bought it. Absolutely fantastic 🧘♀️👏
